  1. well , we'll cross that bridge when we get there.... but i think your issue is in the box, so do 1 thing.. when you remove your box, and pull the subs.. take pics of how its wired.. and hopefully your wire is clearly marked + and - be very detailed in how its wired and post pics and wait to re install it ...
  2. like i said.. i have fixed a few peoples install.. with the SA series sub.... same issue... weak output, HOT dust caps, and eventually smoke. for some reason people wire the SA series subs incorrectly ... i cant tell you why.. but it happends more with these subs then i have ever seen any other subs.... my co worker did it with a SA 12 i sold him... and he has installed plenty of stereos...

  5. there seems to be another issue here.... i will tell you for a fact.. if you have bad or weak batteries... 1 you will kill a alternator... and 2 you will not get good performance from any alternator invest in some batteries first. an alternator is a charger in a way.. it is NOT a replacement for reserve
  6. field wire would have been inside the case right.. so a over look while you were takin the internal regulator out?

  10. had a interesting day today...... figured i would share some pics. i dont often take pics any more.. i really should tho. first tow of the day... was surprising... because it had a wall in it !! bad pic but wood every where and ostrage seats ppi amp for an arm rest sorry for the bad pics then a classis. 58 impala .. this guy owns a shop local to me.. has more cars and money then he knows what to do with... this car has been 100% gone thru and such detail.. modern breaks and factory a/c even new ducting and all enjoy 380 somthing or other bored out with 3 pack of 2 barrels i tow alot of these old cars, because im known for being the best at jobs that need attention to detail, and also for being stupid enough to move anything that needs to be moved here are some pics back at hurts shop.. bad ass car.. same shit.. redone to the T even with an 800 watt stereo his vette her vette hers is some special edtion has a LT3 with 430 Hps or somthing... heres one i towed a few weeks ago. i think it was a 52 mercury with a chopped top.. this guy has TONS of cars too. woke up to this at 5 am last week. something i have never seen half tank for me... then i towed an 74 impala with hydos and 13 inch wheels and bass boat paint job on it.. i didn't take pics
  11. nice find, i had one back in the day.. one of the strongest amps around back then but expensive then a mother fucker... back in the day they were 1 dollar per watt.... thats right.. that was retailed for 1100 bucks.

  19. we lucked out of the weather, it was nasty for a few days before hand, and when we left on Friday there was a 80 percent chance , and Saturday a 50 percent chance, but we seen no rain at all!! it was nice. we try to go down about 3 times a year, you know as big as that bucket was, it only lasted about 35 mins down at the pool .. ahhh night swimming, good times, i did drink about a bottle and a half friday, and i do remember stumbling back from the beach at 4 am telling dani " YOU DONT TELL ME WHEN ITS TIME TO GO TO SLEEP" ahh memories
