  5. you called it buddy! lol.. some of you may not know that steve is a contractor, making things look seemingly normal from out side.. but structurally sound behind the scene is what he does!
  6. your a mad man!!! a mad man i tell you!!! i cant wait to hear this fucker now
  7. if your away from how now.. if your alternator is PCU controlled then check your connection to the alternator.. if it has come lose or a wire has got snagged some how the voltage can not be controlled by the PCU there for it will spike.. so check your connection plug too
  8. oh, and dont drive it anymore ... high voltage can kill your cars computer. your head unit, and some amps
  9. sounds to me like your voltage regulator has gone bad.. check it with a DMM and if indeed it is spiking contact mechman.

  14. oh.. also i just picked up a new team .. so ill be selling my alternator .. its a 240 amp. h/o
  15. the big three helps it all alot, first thing i do... frame body motor battery - and alternator to battery + as far as the cat melting the wire, i have never had that problem.. in the past. i had 2 runs of 0/1.. now that i have 4 runs of 1/0 im gonne be checking on it alot more,... i do for a fact that if you have old cats, or if your car is not running properly, your cats will burn hotter, and cause more heat related issues. i hope i dont have any !!!! i hope none of us do!!
  16. it sounds like you guys are suggesting a 4th order box for him ? 4th orders are pretty big, dont think you have a chance at 2 10's 4th order, in that space, would be nice to try, i have offten thought of trying to make an L port into the cabin for my set up... but i cant seem to work the length for music tuning, and people tell me it would have cancellation issues ..... but my biggest problem is space.amps batteries. box and subs. hope to see you work up a good plan, as far as the arm rest port idea,. it not like a normal car, in the trunk the gas tank divides the cabin from the trunk.. for sound killing reasons,. so the trunk is high behind the seats. and thee is maybe 3 inchs max . of space. in the arm rest area for a port for maximum sound into the car with the equipment you have you should remove the factory sound vynal that black lining that goes under the back seat .. then up to the headrest in the rear.. and that will help alot!
  17. and that's a FULL double... in terms of if you will notice a difference of 100 or 200 watts.. normally.. no.
