  3. and it cuts out lead slap, and also i believe the sandwich leads are able to carry more current, as they are a wide flat style, i could be wrong about the current part... worth it IMO i prefer the sandwich leads.
  4. i didnt even click it.. but i think it was for sale under "undergroundrobotz" before.. and i would not buy the last bottle of water on the planet from that foo
  5. i bought this sub maybe 5 years ago... i bought this sub while on the search for something more then the normal JL kicker blah blah blah.. meanwhile this sub was like 400 bucks.. and i found one that had a broken basket for 30 bucks or so so i bought it only to get it in hand and see how it was build, and the quality of the sub.. long story short.. i bought 2 BL15s and thats how i met SSA, any how.. this thing has a 4 inch V/c and so forth.. i guess my question is... before i put it on CL for 20 bucks.. can this motor be taken off and used on another basket??? and if so will FI's or someone elses 4 inch BL VC be used on a 18 inch sundown basket? anyhow im all jacked up on cold meds .
  6. i guess its not all monkey bars and running for hodgies after all.

  13. were talking about a partner ship on the sales end, ill need to talk to Aaron and mark before i say too much on here.. dont want to step on any toes,. but at this point its just talk anyhow. im really happy at this point. its a boss so far, the guy that was with me was doubting it i think because when he seen the results his eyes were big! and he said "damn its putting it out thats for sure " im going to get a smaller pulley, a 44 mm and see if i can get a higher idle voltage in the rear in my application .
  14. i wanted to share this with you guys, i load tested my alt today, i ran the car for about an hour before my testing to give a hot result,,. we all know that heat kills efficiency so this is a honest test. the only problem i had was presenting a heavy enough load . i put as much load as i could give it. but i could not find a bigger load with out rewiring my subs and that was just too much work today./ its a 240 amp unit and these are the results at 1800 RPM
  15. there are some reasons that you would not want a 100 percent of the power going to the low level amp inputs, i normally put them at half way. you can grab a DMM and a test tone and make sure the output voltage is lower then 6~ish depending on the amps. clipping can be an issue, but the biggest issue i see is that some amps will not play or damage the amp. i would try to leave the LOC accessible , and try it half way and work from there. i hope someone has a more definitive answer for you .
  16. ineed. if you have a budget like you do.. i would shop for good used amps.. you can offten get wwwway more for your money. and in some cases you can pick an amp up from a audiophile, so you know it was used correctly (not stressed on low voltage) and so forth. just a thought. but if you really must have that new hifonics, just besure you do the big three, make sure your voltage is right. and build a good box, and have fun!
  17. how the hell amp i going to do the math on that!
  18. my gut reaction was "god no" but a google search turned up this which doesn't look too bad at all Personally I would say no. o wow those are different! how did you search those? tirefryr why not? my car kinda have a black theme anyhow.. i was just thinking they may look nice.. and i have never seen them in person. any reasons ?
