damn it i miss them already!!!! yeah i figured that box is so tiny any air space saved on displacement would help in a huge way..as soon as you put some real power that box is OUTATHEEE o yeah did you insure that the surround cleared the box while installing?? looking good how about some pics with the box layed down.....
  6. there becomes a point where you wont be able to find music that will play that low... unless you listen to pipe organs
  7. thats why i was asking about the blue or blue with stripe, the attena only provides power for a second, just to sent the signal for the motor to send it up... and then again when you turn it off to retract it,.
  8. do you have the remote hooked to the blue wire on your head unit or the blue wire with the white strip?
  9. so you think these will do? its pretty much the last peice of work on my build to finish it those are what i used on my NS18 i didnt run it long but they worked.. nice big head grab the basket well
  10. search a little its a OVER asked question.. just take a few and find it... front cell +--fuse----------------------------------fuse------ rear cell + 1---+2----+3-----fuse -----amp frame----- -1rear----2 rear---3rear----- amp dont forget the big three - wire + positve - negitive
  11. my box is almost 2 inches thick.. my NS1's would SNAP heat tempered wood screws.... i started useing grey deck wood screws.. non tempered.. heat tempered tents to SNAP by design but the non tempered stretchs ... dry wall screws are too fine of a thread IMO the MDF will just be dust between rounds on the screw,. i would only use dry wall on mid bass and my tweeters and cuch.. but thats me
  12. you dont tell me what to do !!!!
  13. Nice, look forward to seeing you there. Looking good Jon. Use a old tee shirt instead of the fleece. The fleece tends to absorb the resin unevenly and will tend to sag. Looks like I'm the only one behind the times and without custom fiberglass pods. Guess it's time to get back in the garage. oh hugo you have it all!!!!! thanks.. i was thinking a tee shirt aswell but i thought it maybe too thin.
  14. perhaps some one that knows more can tell you more.... but from what i understand and can hear for my self is that they have more of a range, and are not as tinny, and do not screetch.. smoother more natural sound. im loving them
  15. shhhhhiiittt.. i cook more then she does... but she has been tryin more latly.. she wants to you bring more home.. NOW thats a good woman.
  16. even my kitties like sundown foo todays work. you know what it is!!!!! friday should bring some fiber glass.... this is my first time guys, i have never even tried to frame or fiber glass so this is kinda of a crash course i plan to see if i can find a fleece blanket to use for the fiber mat and then use some resin .. then use bondo filler, then sand it smooth then primer, then paint. let me know if im missing somthing
  17. with the leads burning the spider up like that it seems to be just a pure case of over powering, the leads are too small for the amount of power being sent thru them, less power or put custom leads on it
  18. lol at this topic
