it depends who installs it... and who controls the volume knob.... i personaly ran 2 15 inch BL's on a saz 3000d...... i used them for almost a year then sold them..... great subs.... the kid i sold them to put them in his moms tahoe.... one night all lose on that wine she pulled the subs and box out of the tahoe letting them slam on the box.. then i think she backed over them! the point is... they will be fine if you dont get all knob happy.

i promise you i have my bass boost off...... gain a little less then half SSF at about 35

its a bandaid for a bigger problem.... used in a system like mine its a bottle neck usless.
