people love the q's sealed.... the bl's are great subs... good sound tons of bass...... the nightshades are crazy loud.... but imo not a super musical sub.... -
you will be happy with the Q's sealed.

DO NOT run that bl is a sealed box... you WILL NOT be happy... IT WILL BE a waste of money and time

that is what i was thinking... the cross overs were made for the speakers it was with.. while i was shopping i seen some guts close to mine and some waaaay offf....... i sure will take some pics and post them.. one of them in still in tact so just the leads are broken! ill take pics this afternoon thanks!

i dont think the alpines are worth taking active!..... and to be honest... i dont think i have the time to dial an active system in!

if space is your issue its hard to beat a powermaster d3100

well as some of you may know i had alpine type R components, but from the flex of the back deck, it broke my cross overs, im going to leave the rear fill empty but i would like to find a pair of cross overs to keep with these speakers... incase i wanna sell them.. or i buy another lincoln i have a set ready, my question is, what should i be looking for while shopping? i see all kinds... but no type R's..... so i ask does it matter?

some people like them.. i have never used them but i know you will be happy with a saz 1500d thats no question.. .i think DB-r has one cheap!

you can send it in to any pioneer certed repair center..... i know there is one in austin texas cause thats where i sent mine.. but there should be one in every major city

the bumper is higher but it looks strange, that flip kit will help for sure.... my uncle has the headers he loves them.... how much of a power increase do you feel? that spare looks low now... what do you think about a bed mount spare? looks like a fun truck!

it sounds so far like yes the bl is indeed what you want.... but if space is an issue then the q can be ran sealed givin you a smaller box. the bl will sound fine with the a 1000 watts but will take more... so you need to figure your spaceing out... and see if you have room for a bl
