i have never built x-overs... but i have put some pen to paper on this idea... lets talk about cross overs.

yeah there is a bar... and i have thought of that... but the bar is going over the wheel hump on the driver side... i thought about a down fire.. i just havnt have heard any one co sign on a good sound coming from a few down fires in such a high noise area... rollin down the road ans alll..... tell me how does your bus sound.

can you get any pics on the way to school? the dayton 8s call for 2 foot per 8... thats no small box... perhaps some has an idea of how much space i can pull out of pollyfill.

the bus is so weak... if i mount anything to the roof its only tin... so i would have to run bolts and then bolt them to somthing like steal on the top side of the bus. i planed on running mono and i do not think stereo is needed. any amp ideas.

damn... .got me in a spot now... i figure i would use an inwall type set up for a few reasons. 1 space. 2 wire running. 3 keeping the speaker up and away from asshole who ALLWAYS WANT TO TOUCH THE SPEAKERS, but i think that i will get better sound from a 10 and a tweet

i think im gonna try to unload all my personal AGM cells (3)on this build perhaps i can come up on a powermaster d3100 for my car.

you said thay are 21 inch drivers? are thay 8 ohm?

it looks like a prison bus to me... but my parnter likes the way it looks.. i think it needs flames smoke stacks and some wheels. i want to remove half the lights and replace them with speakers. walls will be put up behinf the driver and also on the passenger side so the wood was not ran all the way to the front for that reason.. maybe sub towers.

where are you from? and how much.

im trying to wait to buy new subs untill you have these ready for a pre sale... then im gonna jump on a couple of them.... i will not ask for a eta or a price all tho i want to.

Just something to keep in mind, a lot of woofers that people use in "normal" size vehicles work really well at home...in spaces a lot larger than a bus Just because something says it's for public-address use doesn't mean anything really special. What's the interior going to look like - will there be any other places you could build speakers into (and hide wires, etc...)? I'm thinking something like Radian in-wall speakers, maybe three on each side. i was just at the shop but i had to run as the wrecker company keeps me so busy.. i will get more pics tonight. but i know i can run wires. thru the light mount holes in the insides of the walls.. my first thought was to put 6 or so full range or coaxels and then do 2 15's or 18's but my budget keeps me from going huge on it. what do those Radian's run price wise... and any thoughts on cheap amps to run this build.

i have a 1000 bucks to spend on audio for a bus. i know its not alot but i would really like to stay on budget, its a party bus so it must be loud, and full sounding, i know that in a buss its gonan have a huge echo effect but i can work on that part later.. i will be meeting with my partner later to iron out more details but for now a rough idea would be helpfull to give him and my self an idea of what were looking at.... here are a few pics.. it looks a little more.. full now... it has seats along the walls... ill post new pics later on with the seats in.

i thought yellow tops were only 55 ah and 75 ah depending on the group.

i think thats the range... like a 12 volt system charges at 14 volts.... i think a 16 volt system charges at 18 volts.

im also wondering who says thay are not all thay are built up to ....
