  1. i see two things that would make me say thay would be over heating.... one is your voltage maybe low... a amp that runs low on power also runs warmer.... secondly the amps are covered and thay seem to have NO air flow.... plus thay are very close.. so to me.... low voltage no airflow and raidant heat........ i would back the gains down a touch.. and get some air flow... very nice build by the way.
  2. slow down my friend..... slow down.... first you need to ask... are thay v-1 amps???? i have two v-1's a 3000d and a 100.4....... my 100.4 gets hot to the touch.... hotter then my 3000d at times..... my 3000d shuts down if i cramp its space.... my 3000d is lifted up 1 inch with a fan on it.... i live in texas and i have a black car... a man once told me a inch or prevention is worth more then a mile of cure...... but if its shuting off you need to either pick it up and let the air flow... or back your gains down...... and if thay didnt ever get hot... then why would jacob remake the heat sinks.... somtimes you gotta ask your self that question before you say thats impossible.

1500watts will run the subs... but just dont expect to win any comps... or even be so happy that you dont want another 1500 watts ..... but yes it will be fine.
  7. What? Where? look around... you will find them.
  8. no shit... you can pick them up for 50 brand new.
  9. u knows... your not really giving too good of a question.... at this point anyone who reads this is kinda taking a guess at what your asking... but he maybe saying tha amp is 500 watts at 4 ohms...
  10. alot of times a theif will steal a tow truck... then go steal cars.... thats most commen..... dont let anyone sling your car... a truck is fine but never sling a car unless its already FALKED. flat beds are most commen.... mainly cause customers think thay are better for there car.... but honestly you can do more damage with a slide truck if the drive does not know what hes doing.... but yes i do repos, and i offten check home addresses during the night... that loader there is called a quick pick... or a dynamic self loader... very nice... that truck pictured BEFORE ALL THE MODS... is about 85k
  11. the trucks you drive aren't this type though, are they? seriously i have seen this guy at weird hours of the night coming and going, he definitely isn't local, plus with the chit visibility blurple HID's give i don't see why anyone would want them on a truck they have to use at night especially whn they are trying to be stealthy they sure are... flatbeds, conventional , 1 tons 2 tons 25 tons and 60 tons. i also do repos on everything from golf carts to 18 wheelers... i offten run to other towns and citys to stock repos, the best time to check a home address is to do so at 2-4 am... and HID's are usefull not only do thay look clean and make you feel better about your rig.. thay also help you to seeeeeeeee..... you never wanna wrecker your wrecker. im not saying hes the thief... im just sayin.. every wrecker driver is not a car thief.
  12. why cant my wrecker have HID's with out thinking that im out to steal peoples cars?
  13. yeah we heard that you had moved.... that sounds like a sweet job... i would love to work around fire trucks... the same week you moved i was trying to get some graphics some you...
  14. i need vista or even xp or one of my spare computer... witch is now in use... cause for some reasons my power supplys keep going out on that side of my office.
  15. you have never heard of a sub that calls for ported box only?
  16. yes i think so... but if it fails... i think it may give your car 16 volts i donno.. i looked into it a little but i didnt find alot of info on it.... i think its a lil safe gaured for comp reasons.... thats all i could think up....
  17. from what i understand there are two ways...... a 16 volt alt.... for your system.. and a 12 volt alt for your car.... so 2 alts... OR a 16 volt alt... with a 12 volt step down for your car..... i donno anyore then that but im likin this topic... lets see where it goes.
  18. yeah thats what i have been sayin for 2 days now in three topics..... and he states rap when i ask.... you dont have to have 4 15's to be loud.... more is not allways key... somtimes less is more.
