  2. sloopy reading on my part. i did not read 2 3000d's sorry
  3. 6 i think... and you can buy them online and or at lowes or home depot
  4. got a wood grain kit... i just put it on.. here are some before and afters. the inside of the car is dirty pay no mind.. i donno what im missing but... maybe something new will fill these voids.
  5. for the big three you will need to look at your car and guess. imo you should need more more then 6 feet... to do the big three only. but you will have to look at your car.
  6. my uncle has a few m 16's fully dressed, its fun... that ar 50 is a bolt action style? i know nothing about guns, i get lost reading the guns yall talk about... i still have not picked hand gun.
  7. love to see lincoln builds....way to go

one bl should take 2000 watts in burps.... mine take 1300~1500 daily.
  9. no you need to keep track of how many amp hours you have... http://www.jegs.com/p/Powermaster/795651/10002/-1 see at the end of the list is AH... and then it list how many amp hours the cells have... sundown states ATLEAST 117 ah... but seems how you have only 85 max amp output from your alt.... you may need to hold eveb more amp hours....... i donno jacob has not responded as im sure hes asleep.
  10. here are some deals i seen in just a few pages... look more ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/0-Gauge-Amp...sspagenameZWDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/1-0-Gauge-Power-Wire-2...1QQcmdZViewItem welding wire too..... cheaper.
  11. yeah that will be plenty..... and groundin to sheet metal or a fender well may work for a sony 1000 watt.. but not a saz 1500d....
  12. o sorry.. i responded wrong to two post at once lol... here is what i ment to say to you.... im sure you read this already. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7406
  13. well... normaly you wanna go down to the frame of your car and get a good ground off it... but your in case...... i donno im from the south.... but damn a caviler does not have a steal frame. but the seats are usualy bolted into a very strong point... i would prolly go ofrf a seatbelt mount bolt.. just make sure the paint is wire brushed or grinded away.. and then paint it so it wont rust. here are some shitty pics of mine.
  14. thats very similar to what I run for 2 3000s a 160 amp rated alt D2400 under the hood and 2 D2700s in the trunk you run 2 of them straped at 2 ohms or each at 1?..... and how is your voltage look while playing.
  15. u should run a 0 gauge,+..... and then run a 0 gauge -......to the steal in the rear of your car... what kinda car is it? you need to get the big three out of the way for now dig it. you can be working on stuff while you save up... and dont think that you must buy some over priced stinger amp kit for 2 bills.... nah nah.. just buy a 20 foot run of + 0 gauge.. i dont know you but you prolly have a corolla or somthing.. so you will use 14 foot or so on your+... then you will have all that left over wire.. use it for the ground.. and on the big three. me... well im kinda crazy weird... i run mine under the car.... then i drill a whole in the back and up she comes... seal your hole up and your done.... i like to run the wire inside of pvc for protection. but your dont have too. just make sure its fused in the front and the back. but you can also take out all your seats.. and the run the wire down the middle of the car...
  16. saz 1500d is a 0 gauge input..... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...mp;#entry413313 my boy sec is selling his 1500d's for a steal this is the second deal on a 1500D i have showed you. carpe diem buddy. o yeah 699 retail...
  17. yes thats true it does... but it sounds like you will most likly crank that up and clip that chit..... heres the thing man.. you want a great sound but you dont wanna pay for it...... sundown is cheap brother..... real cheap if you look at its compation.. and matched with the best CS on the planet you cant get any better.
  18. then do it.. so do whatcha want/need to... if you go with the hifonics your talking about. it takes a 4 gauge.... if your gonna do a hifonics try to find a BXi 2008D its a lil better IMO for your needs. but there is no subsitute for quality.
  19. jacob.. if he ran 150-200 amp hours cells like say 2 powermaster d3100's witch is 230 ah's would it be fine then.
  20. pioneer dvd avic n1..... stoney. the reason why i do mine with a switch is because.. when a cop rolls up on me i can just push my switch and BLUE goes the screen.....
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-INCHES-52...t=1218868531562 i need to know if i can make this work.... reason is....... when i idle up with the music on i have no idea where my rpms are... you cant hear the car with the music up and you cant feel the motor. also open to any tachs that may be better... or cleaner.. or even smaller. thanks ssa.
  22. when its switched.. it sees that its on operation... grounded... then ungrounded. and then over again. does this make any sence..... now some head units like the pioneer dvd avic n1 2 3 and are diffrent. i have another dvd player that i have as a video input, then i can watch a dvd... while listing to music.
  23. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080815/us_nm/bigfoot_dc update.
  24. the only reason i could guess is that he wants to get full power from what ever amp hes using... M5 you have a topic that talks about ohms heat and power and what not right? i remember it being VERY long.... but i could not find it when i was looking to relay it to this OP
  25. ahhh you are right sir.
