I'd still have to disagree. I think frequency still plays a part. If I go out to my car and play a sweep from 80 hz down to 20, the 80 hz will start out giving me a headache but I won't feel it in my body. Once I get down to 50-60 hz I feel it more in my chest. If I go lower, down to 30 hz, I feel it more in my gut and the small of my back. As the frequency gets lower the feeling seems to move down my body. I think vehicle type plays a part as well. My friend had two 12's and like 200 watts in his monte carlo but I coulda swore they were louder than my 4 12's and 1000 watts. Mine just rattled everything, his literally beat your body up. But I metered about 8 db more than him. I have a feeling seats might have played a part in that as well. He had tightly wrapped leather, and mine were semi-loose cloth. I think the leather helped the sound bounce off of it, but the cloth absorbed more of it. again, I'm not saying you aren't louder than any of them. I would have no idea. Just throwing it out there. intresting. i have owned MANY lincolns. i have allways found that towncars are hard to bring the bass into the cabin, the fuel tank sits upright as to close the truck off from the back seats. its all leather, and there is alot of factory sound mat all over. i am really intrested in being metered. im not sayin that im louder then everyone.. im just voicing my finds and victorys. i would love to go to heatwave... but i must work. a friend of mine, here in town. that owns a shop has tryed everything to get me to go. trailer my car, pay for my entry, bring shade tent, buy all the beer, ............. i have to work.

you got it. im not talking db. im talking peoples choice. 15 people listen to his then mine.... i have beaten a few SUV's with 4 15s..... 1 navi with 4 kicker 15s on a few AB amps...... 1 blazer with 4 hifonics olyimpa and hifonics bruits 1 esaclade with 4 15 p1s on some mtx amps 1 explorer with 3 15 MEPHs i cant recall what amps. .... and those are suv's i can list tons of cars aswell. i have yet to be metered. the guy with the blazer has a TL... he was gonna meter my car.. but then after we had out lil bass races in the parking lot at his work... he no longer wants to meter my car... he wants to go to a show togather..... hes at 148. and the way he acts im sure hes affraid that im gonna put up a bigger number then him.... his own team mate told him my shit was way louder then his. dpt i told you brother.. i have been there with tons of subs in my trunks...4 12s and 2 15s in a 90's syle lincoln towncar... it was loud but nothing like combo i have now. and to be honest with you im bored...... im working on some new shit.. im putting these bls and this 3000d in my 75 lincoln and cockin a whole new set up.... still gonna be 2 15's but it should be a WHOLE lot stronger. DTP you said you were gonna put some pics and vids up of your cars...........

very wise man that told you that. as for what you said about three ported vs 4 sealed. i told you i put my two 15's up against people with 4 15's all the time.... 4 15's in a trunk < 2 15s in my trunk 4 15s in an suv < 2 15s in my trunk i can list systems for you all day that i have victored. im not saying that im the loudest there is. but put me with against a man that states ports leak to much air and ill stand champion. put me against a man with 4 15s in a poorly made box with a 2000 watt pyle and a 8 gauge power wire and ill rain success. MORE is not allways the key. i would bet to say that your 8 12's would kneel in a battle against a well built 2 sub system......... try it.. prove me wrong.

2 15 inch bls will give you what your looking for... i put my 2 15's against 4 15s all the time...thay never win.... im not talking comps just street beaters.

take away from the whole idea no... alot more work.... yup. you do the same steps. its just gonna cost you alot more wire then a normal big three.

very true.... there is a HUGE diffrence between a box with a slot in it or a holes.... and a tuned box made for YOUR sub. and a box has alot to do with sound imo. and try looking at the sae 1000.... its a great amp

i think what your after is a FULL sound..... perhaps somthing in the SQ area.... its gonna be a long road. try and narrow your goals down. and share with us your music taste, and perhaps a goal. IMO. it sounds like you would enjoy a Q on full range

i mean.. all i can tell you is to save money.. come up with a goal and a budget. say your gonna spend 450 on an amp..... well while you save 450 up.. shop around... look at DB-r's site a great place to pick up a sundown amp by the way... check ebay... i love sundown.. but shop around. maybe a nice kicker is inline for you.. or a jl slash series... but as i stated.. from the sounds of it you maybe happy with a hifonics.. im just asking you not to short change your self or your system for price and price only. there is a man on here that has a van that you should shit if sat in it.... somthing like 24 15's and 6 saz 3000d's.. the guy is a waiter from what i recall.... he knows what he wants.. he saves for it.. and he hunts those deals buddy. NOW GO OUT THERE GET IT.

good.... im glad your not using it... you have had problems with it.. you just didnt know!!!!..... if you would have had a larger wire.. you would have more power...... and no one ever has a problem with thair small power wire untill its onfire and your crying... then its a HUGE problem...

AQ amps are capable of working all the way down to 8.5v from what i've been told which is insane why the hell would YOU be intrested in that??? that info is for other kinda of people then you. and your looking in the wrong places for amps if your paying msrp. buy a hifonics amp if you wish... you will prolly like it alot. just do one thing. just keep in mind that those amps are over rated... so when you read it... and it says 1200 watts dont think that it will put out that amount, and dont get mad if you have to buy a few hifonics amps along the way. thats what i stated up top. you can either buy 3 cheap amps in the long run... and spend 800 bucks.... or spend 450 once.. and be happy with your power out put and your reliabilty.
