yeah... thats how you use one...... thay are pretty much the most worthless thing ever IMO. i used them years ago, i once had the experiance of a Fcap impeeding the flow of power to my amp in one case. but you should allways wire bursh the paint.. get all the way to metel, then tap screw your ground to a solid part of the car... i drilled thru my body and ran 2 double 0 gauges to my frame.

used hifonics is all i can say. or a used sad 3000d.... one will do a good job on that sub.... ummmm half ohm load would do the trick.... but i dont think that jacob covers a half ohm anymore.... but thay will play @

1500 watts depending on how you play.. maybe fine with a OEM alt and a bigg cell under the hood. with a nice fat power wire..... IMO.... but a second cell never hurts either....

when i get shit from canada it simply sucked!.... it took 2-3 months..... customs is a bitch..... i even marked my box as lett then 10 bucks in value... it still got cought up...

Wow. Pretty logical idea to buy a sub based on how it looks. Maybe you should sell your Fi's and get some A-bombs.
