mine is set under half aswell... if you run fuses.... we already covered that fuses are tollerant

well my plans are to get 2 nightshade 15's... pic up 1 more saz 3000d buy a sax 100.2.. and take that 100.4 and go active with it.

i had a 97 lincoln... i had 4 12s 2 15s ALL jl w6 with all jl amps... it was very nice..... and when i was coming up.. anyone who had a EC was bangin... so i bought one.... it made some songs hit sooooo fuggggginnn hard... but it made most songs sound like ass....... i bought it rolled two weeks trying to adjust everything everyday.. i never could get it all to sound good..... black and white it was..... i got my used for like 40 bucks..and i sold it on ebay for like 60 i think. with shipping... so i did well.... but i BOO the EC edit... i tryed it in my wrecker i have a single 8.... it did make a diffrence in my truck.

no i think that other people can also tell you about how thay feel with there BL...... i had the same question you did... i PMED THE chit OUT OF M5....... cause he knows alot about SQ.... he told me "make a topic people will help" i did... and i have been here on and off everyday. but hold up lil buddy, no one said my car sounds like slop... i have 2 sets of comps, with a sax 100.4.... you can hear my words...... and it sounds very nice no matter the music.. i want more... but thats just tha kinda guy i am.. i allways want more... SQ...... is somthing that you get from a bose stereo... when you can feel the warmth in the tones.. and you swear that you can hear the music notes come from thin air... IMO jons car..... LOUD... lots of bass lots of highs.. and a honestly lackin midbass.... not SQ although.... i did show my car off to a man today.. he said i hate these loud cars.. but yours sounds good... he asked me to but an elvis CD from his car... i said SURE!!!!! i poped it in.. and he was shocked... i gott tell you SO I WAS I... it was very warm sounding.. .but that was not from the BL's...... IMO BL's are a SPL sub that can respond to music with great time... IMO..... i donno how elvis would sound on BTL's...

hey doc i noticed you got some bl's, from 1-10 10 being the best where would you put them in sq? also if you can what other subs can you compare them too that sounded just has nice? im looking for a daily driver that can beat but still sound nice..thanx for your time.. SQ on my system... well i listen to rap and rock...... so SQ does not really apply to me.... but i can tell you this... my subs please me, thay carry that low hard body moving nose ticklin brain hurting notes.... on rap..... on rock... thay are pretty fast.. i have owned alot of 15's main stream.. and i have never had a 15 respond like my bls . fast even on double kick drum chit..... i took vid of a rock song in my car but the cam didnt catch it at all..... but in person ill tell ya i was shocked... i did it as a joke with a friend and he was inpressed aswell.... my friend has allways had me do his stereos... hes a rock trance kinda guy,, i allways set him up with 10's or a single 12's he was AMAZED, lemme know if there is anything else.

i have already found the bracket to run dual alts.... and if i can find a step down for my car... ill just run 2 16 volt alts......... umm 7k.... @13....... 9k @ 16 volts jacob>?

yeah i need to clean it up and run it to where it looks good.... but its all safe and its all working... i decide if i wanna do an enlay to sit sloped like from the box to the car.. to hide the cells and wires... but im afriad it maybe stop some boss from my cabin

depend on what you are powering that may be fine...... me my self i dirlled a whole ran 2 0 gauge wires down to the frame and self taped bolts into it... AFTER of course grinding down to steel... and then painting over it after i was done..

someone asked for more pics og the lady.... here ya go i washed and waxed me car sunday...... ...... o yeah.. and i went hunting for the UPS guy today.... he had two of my amps...... my goliath that has been at repair sence aug 07..... and my new sundown..... i threw it in really fast when i got home.. i did a quick tune on it... sounds better.. i thought it would have a little more power.. but i guess with tuning i will get it right.

i told yall the encloser looked like chit.... the car is a joke too... ill take better pics during the day of the car its self... you should see the 6 pairs or flea market tweeters stuck to the winsheild

so i turned the job down.... and someone that has always watched me picked it up... the only problem is really bad with doing chit the fast way and not the right way... that and he knows very little, so the guy went with some very cheap memphis subs, ran on a memphis 1000/1.... after about 10 calls with questions he got it to work... so he calls me to check it out... the car owner and wife were very happy with the sound... BUT when he said it was as loud as mine.. i say crank it up.. and he does....... it sounds like 2 10's tuned VERY HIGH..... so he tells his wife to sit in my car... i have my chick sit in the passenger side and turn it up and then turn up the sub.... his chick JUMPED ... and then said damnnnnnnn... so i told the guy how to get a better sound..... we will see if he listens.... here are some pics.
