BIGJON- i know not all drivers are not on meth... it was a GENERALIZATION about some of the "A$$HOLES" that do..... but then maybe that speaks for some of those A$$HOLES driving lifted EXXON VALDEEZ pickups/hummers. unfortunately in this country we have more money than brains..... the good news is the money is drying up. bad news is stupidity is surely not in short supply. i know thats right!!!! i run about 1300 daily... .. but i love my subs... maybe thay can take more... maybe thay cant..... i donno...... from what i have read thay can take 2300 in burps all day... but i donno if i wanna try it on my dime.

just send the only you have out to be repaired.. i had mine go out aswell...well not OUT.. but i had mad motor noise in it.. only cost me 140 to get it fixed. and becarful getting higher voltage output SOME amps wont take that much input.... i wont name any names.

i think im gonna buy another sundown amp but i will be running it at 2 ohms stereo.... anyone heard problems about it? i have never heard anything bad about this amp.... jacob i wish you took C.C. or even debets.... pay pal take 4 friggin days to upload money to!. does this amp have the same screw style terminels? that is THE only thing i wish was diffrent on my saz series.

update.... i test drove an excursion today.. it was a diesel 4x4 130k.... all leather... good looking truck.... un like tha navi.. its was more comfortable it was strong, tall and pretty!.... i can really see my self owning one..... anyone wanna buy my lincoln towncar?

as stated many times in this forum i run a wrecker company.... i have the towing contract for the local chevy house.... its my bread and butter... i tow more GM's then ANYOTHER make.

max output.. wait wait.. your asking the wrong questions.... the kicker would be a good match for the bl......imo the kicker you will only get 1500 watts out of it on a test bench.............. but the things is.. as nick said... if you get a BTL you will be sad... cause the 1500 wont be enough.. and you will be turning the gain up on the amp.. you will be crankin your volume knob you will be turing your bass boost on.... making all mistakes that lead to distortion and heat.... and then.. a bad sub.... get the bl... if you want the kicker get the kicker.. set your gains right.. run a nice alt, with a nice 0 gauge.. .and you will be happy.... personaly.. no one belives i only have two 15's.... sum times i cant belive it.... but trust the people here...... BL is tha right choice.

big three 2 cells and a single BL just cause you have an amp that can make that kinda power does not mean you have to use that much power.... i have a saz 3000d..... dont mean i have it pushin 3000 watts... i have it pusing some where around 2000 and its cool as a cucumber all day.

so post your set up my friend.

if your just going for music.. and a street beater... then get the BL with some options... and send aroun 1100-1300 watts to it in a tuned box and you will be slammin,..... hifonics........ me personaly i dont like hifonics... i bought a goliath.. first time i ran it at 1 ohm.. it poped.... not protected... POPED... i sent it to hifonics for repair in AUG 07.... thay just called me today APL 08.. its fixed.. and thay charged me 150 bucks... IMO hifonics used to be great.. but now it all made in japan, and its all about price margin to them... .so i say FUXEM but i know people that like them... thay keep spares cause the reliabilty is about a 5 on a scale... of 1-10

i agree with all of that..... my lincoln has about 700 lbs in the trunck... and 20inch steal wheels, in a 5000 lbs car, that is powered by 4.6 liter, plus my fat ass drivin.... so im pretty sluggish already.... but i am comfortable!.... the two big things...... audio....... and i drive trucks allday.... then when i get in my car i find my self driving like im in a truck....... and my poor car.... o i guess there is a third reason.... i live in a college/river town... and summer is a good time to sit high up if ya dig..... buy i test drove a navigator monday.... i felt out of place..... the arm rest were too low... and everythinjg was fuggin plastic...... the dash the console the door panals it was sad... my towncar is all leather.. the dash the door panals the center console its all leather..... i was sad.

i agree jim, that AB is way over rated.... anyway... BL is a great sub, i own 2 and thay are great... infact for a small car like a mustang i would say use a 12...

well i know when i was over the road i had a HUGE problem with people doing this......... comign to a light... it turns red... i as a rig driver start to slow 80,000 lbs while down shifting, and someone in a 4 wheeler come around and jumps infront of me while im coming to the light... thus cutting my stoping distance down in half!..... i could have easly not be able to stop and pushed that car into cross trafic with no options............ alot of truck drivers drive millions of miles a year, and have gotten so sick and tired of 4 wheelers NEVER RESPECTING THE JOB ...... its hard.. and stress fulll....... and yeah.. some truckers do meth... but not all.

kinda like bottom mounting subs on the back deck?, nah im not intrested in that.. my back deck is only.... maybe like 11 inches wide, but i offten ask my self if removing the back speakers or cutting up the back deck to alow more air to move between the trunk and the cabin
