i have a bl's tuned at 33 hrz. it covers great. get a bl if your just a bass head..... btls IMO are for spl.

i have 2 15 bl's on a saz 3000d...... and it does the job very well...... but let me tell you this... you better raise your budget. 600 for subs 300 for box 200 alt 700 amp 300 batts 300 wires............ i cant list all the stuff you will need at this time.. but you will need it

you have to understand the prosses that boxs follow when thay are shipped,... depending on how far thay are shipped say just from NY to texas it can be put on as many as 9 trucks... that mean loaded and un loaded.... also seeing as much as 2 miles of convaer belts and slides at each HUB. witch is the reload spots. jams dams in belts do more damage then the people handling the box.... o yeah i dare you to play hacky sack with XXX lol that would be nice, broken ankels.

4 ohms two speakers positive to each channel then the negitaves wired togather would be 8 ohms mono. right

i worked for ups for years... it is legal IF. the box has broken open. or is distroyed. thay can repack it and send it on its way. infact it was my job for about 3 months.

yeah i had a problem UPs raped my goliath one time... thay inspected the package to see if it was correct... from what i was told it must have a min of 2 inches of full padding ALL around the item..... take it was you will... when my BL's were shipped thay were shipped perfectly. the boxes looked brand new!

i donno how you are ever going to build a box to get into that trunk.

i know this guy here in town that thinks thay are the best thing on the earth.... he thinks my sundown is some kind of joke.... . the only joke is that he owns 4... and runs two at a time.... while the other 2 are in the shop.... he rotates. like an arseho.

for the 3000d. you will need to do alot of up grades, i think jacob recomends a h/o alt, 1 o more runs of 0 gauge along with a minium of 3000 crackin amps in storage, i think he says a powermaster 3100. i use a h/o alt. 1 run of 0 gauge and 3 yellow tops. i have drawn 250 amps current like 3 times.. i play hard. sundowns are great amps. its also a mono.

I can understand just caught a glimpse of the meter in that video. I am curious as to where your taking the voltage measurement at though, at the battery or at the amps terminals. for now.. i have it just on my fused box for my car.. im using a empty slot... so its reading my over all power... i may or may not get another one to run right on my amp input power to read the instant power.

m5, i think you know what im getting at. the Op states that he doesnt like to follow the masses..... when honestly... few people own sundowns... there are many many great amps... but you will have to pay... sundown is one of the best amps i have ever owned... so thats why i am able to ask questions and refure them. as stated. the kicker is a much better amp then the others you asked about....

yup alot of people like that amp... i have played with one very little. i was thinkin for you.. i think a jl 1000/1 will do fine for the job your asking.. its 1000 watts no matter the ohm load... no lower then 1 ohm.. so you can get two 500/1s and strap them... you still never give a reason why you dont like sundown... im gonna go out on a limb..... you think thay cost to much right.. dont lie lil home lay it down..... why dont you care for sundown.
