IF YOU FO IT CORRECTLY! i mean you can do an 2 18 build for 2000 or so but its not gonna be like it should. make statments and stick to the,. how much do you have to spend. and stop sayin things like kicker and rockford cause ill stop reading this thread kicker sucks my hang low..

boy said hell take a chit on it lol! thats wild! ill tell you this i have had alot of jl 500/1's and thay have seemed to be more powerful then a 1000 watt kicker, and the slash series has an awsome ohmload deal where no matter how many ohms the load it its full power,, and tha 500/1 is under rated, slow it has alot of protection, so if your a noob and you seem to be then thats better for you and you can find one with a few sratches on it for 200, or a good used one for 300. thats what i say anyway

drew... i understand that your used to buying amps that say 2000 watts on them.. but your only able to power 1 sony 12'......... once you step in to the true world of audio,... it becomes a lil old school, you see the GOOD OLE AMPS> were underrated. and while being underrated thay were also mesured at 4 ohms... and not 1 ohm... so a 200 watt amp at 4 ohms is accutaly like 900 watts at 1 ohm... with the right power behind it.//// what im trying to tell you. the sundown is underated. remeber i told you to reserch the amp on here.. well look around.. and you will see the test results... and you will see that it is underrated..... i love FI audio. but if you drop a sundown 1500 watt at 1 ohm on 1 Q10 its over...... guys i know used 2 sundown 1500s straped 1 ohm each amp so its like .50 to power 2 15's BL's........... 2 10 Q's 1 sundown 1500 will be more then you dream and if what ole boys said about his set up as far as the 1500 under powering his subs.. those were 12's and and ask him if he has done the big three.... and if not what size wire he is running.. ill tell you little things like that will, rob your amp and distroy it, and or your subs.......

lol no, u may need more then one sundown 3000 to power 4 great subs... but if you get 4 kickers or punch or somthing like that then one sundown will do tha job, i mean its a question of SQ or SPL... of course if your going for SQ u may think about the 12's but for SPL the 18's..... i know all the SQ guys are gonna have somthing to say now.
