THANK YOU! yes i listen to rap, and i want it to sound, loud, right but seems how i dont listen to classical or somthing like that you are correct it does not have to be spot on. it just have to be full.... for my car is longer then most cars.. it is a lincoln towncar cartier L... its bigger inside. so i wanna fill the void.... and i have some monster subs, as far as running the coaxels off the headunit, i have had had problems before with that, asfar as when i reach peak for the rest of my audio my h/u speakers are distored. im not intrested in making the back nor the front louder, i just want a good loud sound, AND BEFORE YALL SAY LOUD IS BAD, we all want to be loud i will try and seal the doors up with some hushmat with out knowing depth what is what is a fair 6 1/2 componets? and a good pair of coaxels for the rear, thanks guyS!

i know what your saying and M5 gave me some options to think about. and i changed my amp and m5 you were right the jl is a much cleaner amp. but i would like more, i listen to rap, in the rear deck are for 5x7 but a 6x9 can be worked, should i be looking for a coaxel type speaker? i currenty run 2 sets of alpine type r 5x7 comp. depth is not an issue on the rear, i cant ask for help on the front yet cause i must mesure depth i will stop thinking about a center channel

see thats what i told him, but then today i was looking at craigslistings in the north and i see a few people that were saying the same in there sales pitch, like garage kept type deal. i thought clearly there must be more to this, or maybe its a yankee thing

so i live in the south TEXAS, and i have never taken my audio out in the winter, but a friend of mine is from the north, and he was telling me everyone he knowns in the north takes there subs and amps out of there car and keeps them in tha house, until spring, yall ever heard of that?

well... i mean, ok i hear what your sayin.. and im open to what people suggest, a three inch sub is what i seen, it just sparked an intrest for my car, not that i wanna have a SUB in my dash just a fuller sound, my factory speaker locations are in the doors, and near the head unit and the center arm rest is kinda dead, i have crap componets, 5x7 alpine type R, front and back, on a jl 300/4 pioneer avh 5700 im open to suggestions

the ones that this man used were subs, they were 3 inch a square bolt patren, and they were 4 inches depth mount. either way im intrested in building a center channel in my car i would like to keep my depth around 3 to 3 1/2 , also my first thought was to run them off my head unit, anyone have any input? thanks SSA

speaking of Alternators any one have good things to say about Iraggi Alternators? i bought a Hioutput alt from ebay.... and when i went to the local parts house, to check the amps it peaked the reader, the same as my old one... but the kid at autozone said uhhh i donno if it goes any higher...... boooo

what are the old subs also you cant go by the box.. the rms is prolly 600@ 2 ohms with like 16.6 volts.. or at the least 14. 4.. and the Memphis web site states to make upgreads to your charging system to run that amp, ur prolly putting out maybe 500 watts clippin all the way i never liked Memphis

problem with amp i think
ok buddy calm down. ok once had a problem like this, i had a hifonics goliath and a autotek 4 channel, and a DVD indash... so one night i was watching a movie... and the sound level of the DVD is lower then music.. so im watchin a movie.. and i get home. and i shut my car off the next day i crack my car up and start to back out. i reach over and press play for the CD... on comes the music, AT LIKE 32 when im tuned for 24 on the music....... so it comes on and IT IS SOOO LOUD AND DISTORTED!!! it scared the CHIT out of me and im swearvin and what not.. anyhow i turn it down and here we GO A BUZZZZZZZ and a motor noise... CRAP CRAP CRAP. i pull over rest all my crap. un plug tha amps and check all my crap in the church parking lot... im screwed right buzzzzzzzzzzz///// im going mad i can even listen to anything cause all i hear is BUZXZZZZZ and its not that bAD but its all i can hear ya know....... anyhow it turns out!!!!! my HEAD unit needed repaired... the tec said somthing happend in the ground end of the H/U 100 bucks later and no buzz.. i keep a spare deck i bet your head unit. OR your PAC unit is un grounded..... take it back to tweeters

i once ran 2 hollywood exursions 10's in a 67 camino, it was nice, but im wondering how deep that W7 is,... o but anyway if you dont allready have the W7 i say get a FI audio sub..... and a sundown amp jacob and scott are both kings among men

yes no yes and dont forget to run a bigger FUSED wire from ALT to under hood batt. and a large ground strap from motor to frame, FOSHO once ran a dual batt isolator.. it worked OK,,, kinda.,. but if you draw more then 200 amps then you will cook an isolator, but i was able to jump start my self!
