What is clipping?

So memphis amps ar inefficient? or bad

How do i check how many amps i am sending them?

My voltage is about 11-13 volts

my box is tuned to 33 hz and my amp is adjusted to about 30 i believe

are motor strutrures avaiable?

I buitl a 7.6 cubic foot box, wiht a 120 square port fiberglassed lined hull 3/4 mdf I have a memphis 2000D (this amp can handle 4 ohm loads, not stable in 1 ohm however) and a BTL wired in 4 ohm (dual 2 in series) 12 gauge wire to sub

I have a 2000w amp on my fully optioned BTl and i know this sub can handle more power than that, so why is my btl's dust cap hot to the touch and "industrial smell" coming from the sub and port?

is it possibel to post pictures in the forum? HOW is one able to do so?

one last thing how is the QFC done? The variance for my paticular amp is 0.5 - 1.2 i believe i have to match it to the output of the head unit right?

Yes I built a box tuned to 34 Hz, 120 in2 (20x6) port and 7.6 cubes lined with fiber glass and some fill in it, it SLAMS! I cant get over HOW DEEEEEP this sub is, even at low volumes I can hear it in my neighbors back yard. I hooked it up inside of my house for now, to tune it before I set it up in the car. how would one use an oscope? why is it helpful? Are you thinkin of producing components? I have a 18 inch BTL with all options, I have a memphis mojo 2000D amp I owned two memphis 500d before this, but the mojo amp has more control settings and i dont understand them.

I live just south of raleigh ok where can i find a 250a or a 300a? I just need an pu grade before i install this amp, i heard if the power is not avaiable the amp will over heat?? any truth in that? I have a memphis 2000d 2400 w @ 2 ohm at 13.5v I have had 2 memphis 500d's that i am now selling I have wanted this amp for a while, finally i have found a sub that can handle the power that this amp is capable of producing.
