  1. Need to be on a gainer protein not a whey if it's hard for you to put on weight. Gainers have more calories and more protein per serving. Does anyone ever want to get big ass legs, I guess not lol. I guess its just me, I just wouldn't want to look like Popeye or something. RESEARCH,RESEARCH, you got bodybuilding . com and T-nation. com too. Supplements will help you, just depends on if you work hard enough. Most people expect them to do the work for them, and to do it in a day. If you have patience and actually want to change, youll get it going. Try taking in about 1.5g's of protein for every pound of weight on your body. Once you get that down and steady that should help with your gains.
  2. Are you talking about doing the "big 3" ? You don't have to cut the stock wire.
  3. That's a sick looking box, and the ports are nice and clean.
  4. I ran my avalanche at around 1000-1200 watts and it did fine, just all depends on how you set the amp and how big and what kind of box it's in. I'd definably get it re-coned, they are sweet subs.
  5. Both are awesome subs, as I've had the chance to play with them both. I had the MT back when RE were still kinda small, so don't know how they are now. Only difference aside from small designs changes, is that with the BTL you get to talk directly to the owners on this forum, and you get to have their awesome customer service.
  6. Ah alright, I assumed they couldn't be that hard. I really want to try this shop here that sells DD, as they have a lot of cool pictures of installs and the dude seemed pretty laid back. My buddy got a job in Houston at Innovative rides back when they were still around without being Mecp certified. I don't know if he knew the owner before though? He made pretty decent money back when he did that, no where at what he does now building giant diesel engines, but enough to pay for his ford fusion and such.
  7. He's so funny Agreed sir!
  8. Right now I'm working at a vitamins/whole food store, and I'm looking for a little extra money on side. I'm just wondering if any of y'all are MECP certified, I was thinking about getting a job at best buy's install bay. We have a few stereo shops here, but I doubt they'd take me in without a Mecp sheet. I've been building boxes and doing installs for people for around 5 yrs now, I've just never done it in an actual shop. Main question is, if you are certified, how hard was the actual test? and if you work in a shop, did you just bring them pictures of your installs. Just curious at 1:30 in the morning.
  9. I've always gone by the 1g to 1.5grams for every lb of body weight. Normal people need around 50grams a protein a day. I take in around 402 grams a day, from shakes and foods.

Always going to be people to say they can do better and such, but in the end if the end result makes you happy who gives a damn?
  12. You got some bad ass ears to hear differences, on installs right next to each other.
  13. They are four gauge power connectors, says on their website. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/amplifiers/sax-1200d.html
  14. Got one on ebay going for $177 and its got people bidding on it...
  15. Awesome build, although if you had more females with no shirts as apposed to males it'd be a bit better.
  16. Give me a couple of days, I'll be up there from Lubbock lol.
  17. When I saw the title, I was like oh sweet, JBL made another cool giant amp.

Just in case you missed the giant letters. Standard 3-7 business day build time. Plus 2-5 business days ship time via UPS ground.
  20. If you don't mind paying the price, they are along the lines as a BTL 18. Just as with every other sub, if you put it in the right situation you should be pleased. Dealer here in Lubbock, told me they were freaking $830 shipped.
  21. Love how easily people panic in this world.
  22. Start the madness tonight sir.
  23. Should be able to run them both lower, by why do that anyways? Just keep the 4k and have fun building your 14cu^ft box ha.
  24. Either one will get the job done, I'm not sure if they are selling the 40.1's at this time. They were re-designing them last I heard.
  25. Freaking awesome story bro, did you also break all the windows Mr. cool?
