  1. Well I have the big three done. When I get more money I may pick up a smaller sundown amp and some components.
  2. This will be going into my scion xb 08. Its going into the hatch area in the back. Question is would any of these batteries work for me. I have no experiance with batteries besides getting stock ones for replacement. I've read up on deka, xs, optima and all those. The only reason I would go with one of the batteries from this site is because I have an account there and they are local. Like I said this is going into a scion xb, will be the second battery. Going to help power a sundown saz1000d pushing a fi 15 Q. http://www.lesschwab.com/batteries.asp I'm assuming one of the deep cycle ones would work for me since they seem to resemble the optimas, but I am lost. And since it wont actually be starting the car I guess the cca wont matter much? What should I be looking for. Thanks.
  3. Well another problem with the cerwins is that there is only 1 in stock.
  4. if you go with ebay you can get some knu in whatever guage you want. Plus they combine shipping. Oh on the rca's they dont say krystal kable in the title. Usually have smoke in the title.
  5. I got a 20' Knu Koncetpz Krystal Kable on ebay for 20 bucks. Works great for me so far.
  6. lol...Your thinking of the post. I'm talking about the terminal that is on the wire itself.
  7. lol yeah I figured I'd have to just cut them. Thanks.
  8. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=BT-104P Sorry should have posted what I bought. Bout the multiple post. Isn't there batteries that have a post on top and one on the side? or maybe i read somthing wrong.
  9. Ok I was just wondering what you guys do. I bought some knukonceptz terminals. Here's the situation. Did you guys cut off the factory terminals? And then just wire those into the new terminals? Or get a battery with multiple posts? Its gonna be in a 08 scion xb so I don't really wanna cut the factory terminals if i dont have to.
  10. If you hit a bump and they only went out for 5 seconds was it maybe just a cd skipping?
  11. Thats a good idea....can't really shallow mount the fi q lol. I dunno how much room the 07 has, the 08's and up have quite a bit of room. I think i may just be able to mount the sub underneath the floor in there already.
  12. Story of my life! The best deals can often be found there though Oh I know it. Got some 2/0 welding cable 20' for 30 bucks. And a fosgate 2/0 fuse holder for 13.
  13. Will do....I started a build log. Not much in there atm. Waiting for a bunch of stuff to show up in the mail. Went a lil crazy on ebay the other night.
  14. Well...its not for security purposes....just kinda something out of the way. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270460414190&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_972 I bought one of those. I'm gonna try it with one fan to start with. I don't think it will have too much of a cooling problem.
  15. Are you mad that you asked a dumb question and got a dumb answer back? People are allowed to form opinions about products. That's the beauty of the internet you can search and find info about things. Just because they haven't experienced that amp themselves is no reason to discredit them. Some did their research and posted what they found. Sorry that your holy grail of a amp isn't as good as you want us all to believe.
  16. Its not as bad as it looks..........but it is.
  17. I will have to wait till monday for pics. At work atm and will be out of town tomorrow. Xb's are considered wagons so instead of a trunk its a cargo area. There is a false floor with a cargo tray. My thinking is that tray is a lil taller than the amp itself. So I may just fab up a box to put the amp into. I'm just worried about airflow.
  18. So I'm going to attempt to make a false floor in my scion xb. Back there now there is a storage compartment type thing above the spare tire. I'm going to try to make a tray for my amp to sit in. Its a Saz-1000d. Here's my question. I'm going to put some fans in so that I can put the false floor over the amp. Will this have sufficient airflow? Maybe like 2 120 mm fans on each side, 2 pushing and 2 pulling. Will this be a problem?
  19. k ordered some 2/0 cable and some other odds and ends, gotta wait for those to show up and can start building. Will attempt to start making a false floor this next week. Pics to come soon.
  20. Damn...I just had to order last week lol.
  21. yeah where should all the settings be...lol just kidding. I have the voltage set to about 32 for the gains. might push it up a little further to around 35. That should be around 1200 watts.
  22. will do once i get everything set up right and broken in
  23. lol we posted at the same time...thanks
