The box turned out great and sounds great too. Thanks very much for your help Alton. I will look into bed liner. I am going to build an amp rack also. I still have a few cosmetic things to do but it is almost done. I am uploading a new vid to Youtube playing a little. The mic on my Galaxy S3 sux but most vids of bass don't have great sound anyways. Well, thanks again and keep an eye out for the new vid.

Haven't had time to play with the position yet. The holidays have been hectic. And, yeah it is pretty loud . I have a friend with one FI btl N2 18 and it seems to be just as loud ...... Hopefully with a little more tweaking I can get it juuuuust right !!!

If I understand ports correctly, then the length also matters. In this case the port will be 36 to 37 inches long. Correct me if I am wrong.

UPDATE....... Subs are shipped and will be here tomorrow......I guess I need to get busy

The subs I ordered are SVC. The amp that is on them is a new PPI Black Ice 1800.1. The ohm load should be about 1.34. I saw the quick design you sketched and it looks great. I am wondering if subs up/ port back is better than both subs/port back ? Thanks very much for your help

Thanks for the input. These will be going in my 1999 Chevy Tahoe. The room isn't an issue at all. I am shooting for getting really loud and get good response with higher and lower notes. In your opinion do you think that this will do the trick ? Or, would you recommend a different box alltogether ?
