RMS figures are useless? How so? Just how efficient of an enclosure are you talking about that the amp's power isn't a factor? Like... infinite baffle? Or maybe a 6th order with +12db gain? Or did you mean THOSE amps' RMS figures are useless? I'm going to assume that he meant that a slight difference in power will be inaudible, and that the enclosure will play a far bigger role.

What is your budget for everything? Subs, amps, wiring, electrical etc...... What do you consider loud? If you aren't competing adding a ton of power probably won't be worth it.

I would be surprised if you got it before Christmas. With all of the BF orders I'd expect a minimum of 21 business days. It is worth the wait though.

Stop looking at the vvx's. You should look at the GCON's too. Why not? They're good subs for the price. Or he could go gcon's and wait two to three months. Why not...because better drivers can be had for the same, or slightly more money. I also like my money to go to a company that is owned by honest people who are in the car audio business for more than just making a quick buck. The build time for the GCON is much less than three months, and it is a far superior driver than the vvx in every way.
