Where did you get it? I ask because the enclosure is more important than the sub that you put in it. You might be unhappy now because of the enclosure. Or it could be your bass trap of a trunk.

There is "technology" being marketed toward the misinformed, or people that just don't know any better. Eyes, ears, and nose are the best tools you can use.

Take double sided tape and move them around until you find a spot where they sound best to you. Cutting that grill won't look that good so I wouldn't suggest it unless you plan on cleaning up the opening somehow.

Maybe four 18s if you can fit it. Or a few 21s.
