  1. Haha I should have known better.

  3. Sq wise it is one of the best subs that I have ever heard. The enclosure will have a lot to do with how it sounds and how low it will play. As far as "sql" subs go I don't think you can beat the Xcon.
  4. Thanks! No problem! I'm not suggesting that you buy a sub based on a video, but I posted a few here that you can check out. Not bad for 600 watts.
  5. Is it the version with a pole vent? Didn't think any of them had a pole vent lol but no it isn't it's only a few months old Cool thanks!
  6. I have a single Xcon 12 on 600 RMS and it is LOUD and sounds great.
  7. Is it the version with a pole vent?
  8. I would have gotten my xcon twelves and not wasted money on other subs that I wasn't 100% happy with. I don't really regret it though, I got to play with a lot of great subs.
  9. Looking good!
  10. He just said he was dropping to low 12's Missed that, but I agree he should get a bigger alt. Don't expect a large gain in output by just changing the alt though.
  11. No problem! That would be an awesome setup, be sure to post some pics.

  13. One 15" Gcon or Sa would be great.
  14. No as Sean stated 4 times
  15. 4th order bandpass? If so why?
  16. You can get much louder for the same price. Buy a single 12 or 15 within your budget and you will be happier in my opinion. It just depends on your goals and the room you are willing to sacrifice. What is your budget?
  17. You should not be looking at 8's then.
  18. Since you can't hear the difference between 1000w and 1200w do you really care? It's a thermal rating. If you get it too hot it dies, if you don't it won't. I kinda do care.... i want my sub to last.. Then only use 1000 of the 1200. There is a gain knob for a reason. lol why are you so mean? He is stating facts, you should definitely listen.
  19. If you put your subs in his vehicle, then the difference is easily attributable to nothing more than differences in vehicle acoustics. If you liked the way it performed in his vehicle better, then either design an enclosure that performs better in your vehicle or purchase the same vehicle he has to drive around in instead. Without more information about how your electrical system is actually performing, we can't tell you anything about whether or not your electrical is performing up to par. Exactly what I was getting at.
  20. Did you put your subs in his car, or leave them in your car?
