Company sucks the subs suck, the amps I'm not sure about. Probably just off the shelf from Asia with a skar sticker slapped on it.

I don't believe so in most regular gas vehicles but I could be wrong. An alternator does put out less amps at lower rpm's though.

Things as simple as the temperature can have an effect on your voltage. Ac, headlights, gps, rpm's, your volume knob on your stereo etc...voltage is constantly changing as demand changes.

Like you said equipment is only a small part of it, a good install will always win. Just keep playing with your current setup until you get to where you want. Then you can adjust the individual components of your system as necessary.

Maybe try making a removable screen covered in mlv to put in front of the fireplace when you aren't using it? Just an idea, and it could be a poor one haha.
