  1. Well one audible difference that I have experienced first hand is less trunk rattle. That box is big enough in the opening that you likely wouldn't gain any output "to the ear", but it sounds a whole lot better to me sealed off because of the lack of trunk rattle.

    Welcome to SSA man!
  3. Sorry man, glad that you are "ok" though.
  4. Good luck man! Kill it!
  5. Very nice Lee!
  6. You will need a bit more for 4k. How much is a bit? two D3100 in trunk or even more? My amp choices right now are SAZ 3500, Crexcendo 3500, DD M4, or DC 3.5k. If you already have two 34's put them in and watch your voltage like Jon said. If you are dropping low (which I'm sure you will) add another battery and check again.
  7. I'm planning to do the install myself. What do you mean focus the whole budget on the fronts and the install? How much extra cost is there? and really not have any rears? this is a sedan and I will have people in the back seats from time to time? Most people will recommend only running a nice front stage with no rears, I would be one of them. Music is recorded in stereo, not RFront/LFront RRear/LRear.

Absolutely, just select "yes" for the send sub in option. It isn't THAT hard to do it yourself, and if you need help we can help you through it.
  9. Thanks! I thought that I was going to lose her Saturday morning, it really is not a good thing to go through.
  10. Thanks, I'm relieved but still nervous. I'm glad that shes home.
  11. Fiona is home and doing better. She is enjoying her new memory foam bed. Riley is happy she is back too.

You'll get more help if you start your own thread man.
  13. gonna be interesting setting the gains by ear when the sa is wangin up in the 2k rms range lol Why? It is fairly easy to hear, see, and smell when a sub is being over driven.
  14. Just got off of the phone with great news saying that she could come home tonight. I made the decision to have them keep her overnight just to make sure everything was definitely okay. I want her home but want to make sure that I don't have to rush her back again. It was definitely the scariest moment of my life. So great news.....but I'm keeping my stuff This can be closed/locked.
  15. She is in very good hands and doing better this morning, so I'm hoping that she'll be home soon. Might be able to keep my stuff, but that is the least of my worries.
  16. Awesome!
  17. Well my dog Fiona has been at the emergency vet for 24 hours and might need another surgery in the morning so I am unloading everything. She has already racked up 2k in bills that are covered but if she needs another surgery I'm going to need more. Everything is OBO and I will get pics up ASAP, I have plenty of refs on here so I hope that isn't a problem.
