I had the ear tickle with one 12 but now it is more of a throat squeezing feeling. Now, do I throw 3500 at them........

They are in and playing! So far they have disabled my speedometer, created new annoying rattles, and overall sound pretty damn good. So tomorrows checklist will be to try to find out what loosened up causing my speedometer to stop working, find and eliminate some rattles, and see if I have some time to make some videos!

Mislabeled the posts on the back of the enclosure and the woofers were out of phase, rookie mistake to say the least Thanks for the help guys! I will be hooking it up correctly tomorrow and will update my build log with some videos.

I'm pretty sure that everything on their site is current, other than the Team Fi woofer which I don't even know if they will add that to the sure.

Didn't see those when I was shopping! I like em They are cheap and do the job. I have them on my under hood battery and in the trunk, they have all served me well.

I'm pretty sure that the one reading higher was abused but the price was right, so I wouldn't be that mad if I had to recone it. Again that wouldn't contribute to my problem right? Like I said they both play fine on their own.

I will try this first thing tomorrow. If it ends up being something that stupid I am really going to be mad at myself and will blame it on a lack of sleep. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hmm what do you mean? A short in what?

Coils were measured before they were put in the enclosure if that is what you are asking. Do you mean swap the woofers positions in the enclosure? If so I have not tried it but if it will tell me anything I can do it tomorrow.

Okay so I have two D1 XCONs that were both purchased used. One of them reads .07-.08 on both coils, and the other reads 1.0-1.1 on both coils. Both subs sound fine when they are used alone, but once I wire them together it sounds way quieter, and seems like one is canceling the other out. Could this be because they are getting different amounts of power? I've been troubleshooting and am really getting frustrated. I've triple checked the wiring, I've swapped RCAs, amps, and HU pre outs. I finally decided to wire one in my 4.5 cube shared chamber enclosure to 2 ohms and bam the difference was night and day louder. I switched to the other sub and it was just as loud. Wire them together at 1 ohm and it sounds like shit, any ideas? Is the difference between the coils my issue? Both subs were used in a single 12 enclosure at different times in the past and sounded great, and this is the first time that I have used them together. Is the one reading ~1.0 on its way out? Excursion looks equal when wired together at 1 ohm. Sorry if that is worded weird I'm just trying to add as much as I think is relevant, if any other info would help narrow things down let me know. Give us your max height, width, and depth. What are your goals? What amp do you plan on using? I think he is saying 1m squared???lol .... and 40cm in height Lol yeah if he can provide h X w X d it'll be a bit easier. Plus we will know if he has any restrictions.

Lol yeah my bad man. I do still suggest trying the zcon only because it will cost you a sheet of wood, and might save you some money. If you don't like it sell the box on craigslist and make more than what you payed to build it. That is what I'd do at least.
