  1. What company are you using for the alternator? and have you considered buying used gear? There's a lot of used gear on the net for pretty good prices.
  2. Mounted my amps today, should be building my sealed enclosure tomorrow, wanna stop at a fabric place and find something to wrap my amp rack in.
  3. Or get some toolmaker terminals
  4. My Jeep doesn't like wood strapped to the roof like that.
  5. Yeah I imagined that but since my subsonic filter doesn't have an option to turn it off, would I just turn it to the lowest setting?
  6. Im building a sealed enclosure for my 2 15" Obsidians that's gonna be about 4 Cu Ft. after displacement. I plan on using my Hifonics Zeus 2000 which has a subsonic filter on it which for my ported enclosure I set about 5 Hz under my Box tuning. There's no option to turn the Subsonic filter off so I'm wondering what exactly I should set it at when using it for a sealed enclosure. Sorry if this lacks detail I'm unsure how/what to base setting it off of so I'm not sure what else to include.
  7. Decided I wanted a doubledin touchscreen, Jeeps comes stock with 1.5 Dins so it required some cutting. I gotta sand the panel down some more, then do some fiber glassing. I'm not shooting for perfection but I wont settle for how it looks now.
  8. Its been raining a lot in NY Lately and I work at festivals that mainly have grass parking so I've been seeing a lot of vehicles getting stuck lately. Jeeps come with absolutely 0 Tow points so I decided to throw a hitch on. Also went half and half on that popup camper with my dad, have to do a few repairs to the canvas before its ready to be used though.
  9. Adding a 3rd layer if I'm not mistaken would only change the displacement of the Sub, which would be a minimal difference for tuning.
  10. Could zip tie them together to reduce vibration a bit, in the sense of them rubbing against each other.
  11. Messaged Tirefryr
  12. Not many goals honestly just adding some bump to my Jeep I'm selling my Obsidian 15's so just looking to downsize space wise.
  13. 10s are preferred but I'm open to anything.
  14. Let me know what you have looking to spend around $300 max , shipped to 13501. Blown subs that can be reconed are fine too.
  15. you always post stuff as soon as I'm broke =/ GLWS
  16. When is that? Where? I would love to come down for that schedule permitting... Its August 25th in Brewerton, NY
  17. Welp my box has a new owner meeting up with him on Friday, and I'm still trying to find a buyer for the OAs. Once this box is gone im gonna try my luck with fiberglass and see if I can't make myself a stealth box and work towards more of a SQ System. Ive had my fun with my 15s but since this Jeep is my daily driver they just aren't convenient especially when I need to use my cargo area. Maybe once im done with college and have a sufficient income I'll have a go at building a "spl" machine.
  18. You gonna have this at the TNESPL Finals @ Syracuse Customs?
  19. Would you consider an obsidian 15" + cash?
  20. But my voltage at the amp never drops below 13.4. Neither did mine I assumed it had something to do with my Jeeps PCM
  21. I have a Singer 270Amp alt in my Jeep with a DieHard G34M, When I had my 2K I wasnt getting massive voltage drop but my lights were dimming as well. I added a little Kinetic600 to the back and it went away.
  22. What do you have for batteries?
  23. mdf

You might want to use a more reliable calculator then RE Box calculator.
  24. Thats what I initially though because the keys for the Jeep have Chips and you need to bypass for remote start but nothing on the wire was exposed, and id imagine the wire would have to touch the metal? Regardless im ordering one of those alarms with an LCD on the remote that goes off when a doors open and shows which door, so Ill just save that project until I purchase that. I actually had to do this last week at a shop i work at. I used the secondary key to make sure the chip was a ignition issue. But in short the reason your probably has that key behind the dash is because the chip in the original key failed. And alot of people will do that instead of changing the ignition cylinder. It can be done on chryslers chevys and any car with a chipped key. What happens is that your sort of bypassing your anti theft system, the wires should be going to the key cylinder and then when wrapped around the other key(and then some wires have to be cut and jumped), it will fool your car into thinking it has a the correct key in it. This doesnt however make your car easier to steal. from what i understand you should still have to have the chip in the original key to make the complete circuit to start the car. Before I removed the key my Jeep would only start with the chipped key, and it would stall out with an unchipped key, and since I removed that key its the same way so im unsure of the actual reasoning.
  25. Took a little video of flex on the p5002 today http://youtu.be/H1iEzIwbUag
