if you want a fart box do it 1.5 cubes with a single 6'' aero the same legnth and sub up port firing to the side.. depending on what side it is louder on.. of course you usually want to meter in the side opposite the port.

yea hopefully i will obtain a dedicated SPL vehicle sometime this next season otherwise ill see nothing more than the sq lanes...

well im assumming your putting it in a scion xb.. if your going to be tuning that lowi would suggest the smaller enclosure so you dont over excrude the woofer.. also if you looking for good numbers as well.. with one woofer probably get by with a single 4'' aero to keep it musical.. you could go with a single 6'' aero but it will be very peaky and more SPL oriented.

hopefully ill be getting sundown into the sq MECA ring next year as well. assuming everythign goes the way i want ...

yeah i had a much larger enclosure in my trunk car.. about 2.2cubes or so a piece and with turning at 34hz it was very stressfull on the surround.. lol.. overexcursion is the only way you will tear up anything of the woofer though.. trust me i tried.. but yeah my box at worlds was very very samall 1.5cubes per woofer with external aero ports.

yeah good job on gettin that trunk car score up!! once u get to that 148 in the trunk its hard to climb more

use AERO PORTS.. 2 6'' aeros ... will give u the port surface area u need and u can change ur tuning.. these can be aquired from www.partsexpress.com

well we came home with 2 world titles and some other top places!! Derek "me" - S2 World CHAMP 152.0db with a 3hr install in my moms explorer i dotn remember everyone elses scores exactly so i will let them or someone else elaborate on that.. i also want to thank jacob for coming down to show support for the team and it was great to get a chance to talk to him in person and exchange ideas!! yeah no state records for me.. kinda hard to do a 151.8 outta a trunk car with 3000 watts.. oh well won my class by like 6 DB there.

well we had another good showing today at a great show down in elizabethtown.. was a little hot though.. Derek 1st place Street 2 with another 148.. PHAT CAR award!!! Corey 2nd place Street 1 with I believe a 145.3 1st place Drive by 1 with 121.8 Seth 2nd place Amatuer Street 1 with a 143.4 Jeremy 1st place Mod 2 with a 150.4 "playing music the entire SPL run.. hehe" 1st Place Drive By 2 with a killer 129.1 "lookin for a 130 but just too hott" Also Drive By Best of Show also another member of our team that doesnt have sundown stuff yet Josh 1st place Mod 5 152.3 have a few pics on the way

Just curious did you ever meter your car? Good job guys. Repping Sundown awsome as usual. nope my car is still just a throw in system.. no real tuning has gone on in my trunk at all.. still just the longest ports i can fit in teh box... hehe... for some reason it just keeps gettin louder every show with no changes.. lol...
