  1. I literally just spit my beer out when I read that.Fuckin hilarious I had a good chuckle too. Damn........Well it's already installed bro, let's see the Youtube vids of it in action.
  2. I will post some pics of it. What PJ are you running and how do you like it?
  3. Sony HW50 is a nice pj. You will definitely enjoy it. Thanks for compliments.
  4. Please don't let them skip Xcons again.
  5. Pick up another one and strap them together.
  6. I just watched a few of these yesterday, pretty funny.
  7. I just wanted to post up and see if anyone here is running a projector for HT. I just upgraded to 4k resolution in my theater and love it. I went with the JVC RS4810 and the image is completely mind blowing. Plenty bright on my Carada 126" screen. I've been in H/T for yrs, so I figure I would share my build. My room 14x20, ran on 6 dedicated 20 amp circuits, CAT 6 cable ran to support my 1gb fiber connection. I can stream FLAC files, movies, etc. Speakers I run Polk Audio RTi12s, RTi3s, FXi5s, FXi3s, powered by a D-Sonic Magnum 1000S and Sunfire TGA5400. Subwoofers are dual SVS pb12/plus 2 subs controlled by the Velodyne SMS-1 sub EQ. I'm using the Pioneer SC07 as a pre with a Sony S790, Pioneer bdp51 as CDp, Toshiba XA2 HD DVD, and Monster Power Conditioners. A few pics:
  8. I just went 4k. Picked up a JVC RS4810 as a Christmas to myself.

Definitely consider front projector. An Epson would do well in that setup, so check into them.
  10. I've ran the Hifonics BRZ1700D and liked it. Just wasn't enough for my application. I would agree and say they do well, offering pretty good bang for buck. Couple good sales over at **** http://www.****/forum/mono-amplifiers/145092-sundown-audio-2500d.html
  11. Bro I was thinking about those, what was the shipping weight on yours? If it is under 72lbs they can go military posta,l anything over and I'm looking at $400 or so shipped to Japan.
  12. Sick looking enclosure. Should be loud......
  13. XS power D3100 or D3400 should be good. If the cost is too high a Sears Diehard plat group 3100 AGM.
  14. Yea I like them, I'm just hoping they dont ruin it for me with the Xcons coming. I think I will be happy with either though.
  15. I'm waiting on Xcons but borrowed the pair of Zcons that my friend has for her build. She isn't sure when she would be done with her enclosure and asked me to test drive them.
  16. First vid with the Zcons and though not the best I will try again. Good flex and they sound really good. http://youtu.be/zBZzS412Csc http://youtu.be/Ez5a5KbniAI
  17. In my case I'd rather go with the Crescendo 2k. Hahaha! Can't go wrong either way OP.
  18. Order up. As others have said they've been a tad behind with the holiday rush. Can't rush excellence and the quality product that comes from these guys is amazing. Sit patiently as possible and start working on other parts of your build. Icons are great subs.
  19. Link the 2 amps together for double the power at around 3k. Those amps will probably do around 1700 watts since they under rate them anyway. Definitely strap them though. Other than lots to do. You already have wires? Enclosure designed? Etc? You'll definitely want something built. My custom enclosure is 8cu^ net, tuned at 33hz. Running any batteries in the rear?
  20. Back from Korea and had a great trip. I got back to work on my build and installed my D3400s in the rear. I decided to get custom buss bars made, so I'm waiting on them. They should make the battery box look nice and clean. Hopefully the sub ships soon, but until then I installed a pair of Zcons. My friend let me use them while she finishes up build plans for her install.
  21. I just installed some Zcon 15s, so I have something to play with until I receive my order. My only fear is that I like them too much and want to keep them. I ordered them for a friend who is still planning her build. They freaking pound, it's scary. I can sit patiently I suppose, until she wants them back.
  22. Congrats on those bad boys.
  23. Nice build..Awesome work
  24. You have fiber? I hate you now. It's all love bro. If I could send you some broadband, I would. HAHA. 1gb fiber is sick fast mane. Are you saying that you have 1gb down load speeds ?? or Fiber optic cable running directly to your house ?? Yes, in Japan you have the option to run dedicated fiber to the home. You can purchase it in 200mb or 1Gbps being the highest. I have a 1 Gbps fiber connection. Price is around $60 -$70 month depending on the yen rate. Slower speeds like 100mb and below runs around $25- $50 a month. They give away broadband out here. No limit to how much you can really download unless you download over 30 gig in a week or something crazy. People do it though. http://www.ocn.ne.jp/english/hikari/wflets/
