  1. What are a good 6.5 mid by SEAS and where can i purchase SEA's in general?
  2. Yeah i think i will try out the front components without the coaxial. Probably run the Comps off a Sundown 100.4. Thanks for the help guys.
  3. If i have a 4 channel amp and i want to run morel comps and coaxials then how would i hook up the front compenents (tweeter and mids) to the amp without using the crossover?
  4. i understand that but i am confused with what Ramos said that i don't need the passive crossover that comes with the components.
  5. Ok so i just need to connect the rca's to the amp then from the amp speaker wire right to the tweeter's and mid's and that would run active? Why is the crossover even included then? I thought that connects the tweeter and mid together making it a component speaker.
  6. My setup is going to be a pioneer 9800bt headunit, morel hybrid ovation's, and a kicker 850.4 amp. Is it possible to run active? Crossover before or after the amp? I know that the kicker amp has high and low pass. Also do all crossovers need a 12volt supply or just running active needs a power and ground? I'm trying to learn about this so I apologize for my beginner questions. From what i am learning is i dont need to power the morel crossovers that come with that component set, but i have to buy an electronic crossover something like a PPI 2/3 way electronic crossover BNIB?
  7. I want to run an active crossover. How exactly does it work? The crossover goes before the amplifier?
  8. that sounds impressive. So a good 80 - 100 rms should be more then enough from what you have heard?
  9. haha i know im thinking about picking up a pair of the supremo tweeters and the Elate 6 SW. what would be a good crossover and amount of power i should feed them?
  10. What is the RMS for these 4inch tweeters. Site says 220 but just making sure if its rms.
  11. Right now I'm in Waltham MA at college
  12. What is the best way of purchasing a SAZ-1500d?
  13. Any experiences with these two amps? Are they close to the same quality and performance?
  14. I am having trouble figuring out the proper dimensions and port area for 2 12inch Q's. I want to have a total of 4 cubes tuned to 32 hz. Any recommendations?
  15. I am ordering 2 q's soon and need to wire it to a 2 ohm load so i would want the dual 1's or dual 2's?
  16. m5 - do you have any recommendations on similar speakers that i listed?
  17. i know the recommended power is 100rms but are these speakers still thirsty for more?
  18. I don't see what the harm in asking if anyone else has heard them before. Obviously i have not had the time or even found the location to listen to them. I'm a college student without a car, so i am trying to narrow this down the best i can at this time.
  19. Anyone else heard the Morels before? Midrange , Midbass, Highs impressions? Also how do the Hybrid Ovations compare to the Dotech Ovations? I know the dotech are the cheaper version but are the sound differences very noticeable?
  20. Midbass isn't the top of my list i am looking more into midrange and highs. when i said i want them to keep up i meant i don't want them to be drowned out and still be audible.
  21. i agree, i am trying to find a place where i can hear them. i need these speakers to keep up with 2 12 q's.
  22. I have come down to these 3 sets of comps. Does anyone have any opinions and experiences with any of these components?
  23. yeah im pretty much set on 2 12inch Q's just wanted to look at all my options
  24. how do these two subs compare in SQ and SP?
