  1. A picture of a boat anchor that is.
  2. I vote not #1, since it is not the motor in production that the sub woofer was designed for. New one to me. Tell me more (via pm if necessary). I know in previous conversations Scott did not seem particularly satisfied with the end result. Can't PM ATM on this machine, but nothing top secret. It was supposed to be a neo-mag motor. I think it was supplier problems when it came time for production. And that thing could use all the flux it can get. I don't know anything about the motor on it now, nick would know. Someone called it a boat anchor, and posted a pic on CA and David did not find it funny, but Tracy did.
  3. It is $163 mil here.
  4. t-3.5

  6. This job requires me to be here so early since the machine shop starts at 6am. I am like you and naturally a night person, always seemed more natural to me when I was bartending.
  7. Initally I was interested in the MX until I heard one.

  9. I drink sleepytime tea around 9pm every night to help me get to bed. Did not want to keep taking pills. 4:30am comes too damn fast.
  10. How so?
  11. Debating on keeping DC or not.... They seem to provide good support for it but they just don't generate much interest....and there's no ties to the store, either. Well I can PM you later about some stuff. But on DC, Rusty spends his time on SMD, which I am still bothered that there is a US Amps and FI section there.
  12. I think I have to work monday.
  13. Debating on keeping DC or not....
  14. t-4.5
  15. Too short for me to get anything done for SSA.
  16. Not anymore.
  17. All by myself....
  18. 30 min lunch blows chunks.
  19. New Kid Rock song is pretty decent, based on lyrics alone.
  20. I need correct my last post, the Orion P6.2's are metal tweets.
  21. I'm still interested. I have quite a few offers from companies to do something similar but I'm so busy right now and am about to get busier. If the opportunity comes up, though, I'll be taking it. Somedays I wonder if maybe I should jump into this industry head first without going to school, but I know I'd never be satisfied. Totally understand, I am mid-way through a second M.S. (would be 4th degree when I can afford to finish), but won't be happy until the PhD. If SSA were to able to take off in miraculous fashion, I would return for sure. You and Sean are among the very few I would feel comfortable with it.
  22. Apparently he is an absolutely great guy. Have you heard the story of him and the Beaconsfield miners? Not yet.... A mine in Beaconsfield, Australia collapsed a couple years ago and several of the miners were killed or trapped. When there were only two surviving miners, they sent a message asking for various supplies and included was a request for an iPod loaded with Foo Fighters music. When Dave Grohl heard that, he sent over a fax to them saying that he was on tour and unable to come see them but that they could come to any Foo Fighters show they wanted to for free and he would buy them a couple beers before or after the show as well. One of the two survivors agreed to meet and Grohl lived up to his promise...they went out for beers and afterwards, Dave wrote "Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners" which is an acoustic instrumental song as a tribute. Very cool, thank you for sharing.
  23. Lunchy time time.

  25. Neil, that prior offer still stands for side money if you want.
