Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Test drove a VERY VERY clean IS300 manual, UNMODDED! Only 100k on it, seems very low for a 2002. The guy wants a little bit much, but the car is really close, in really great shape, has minimal wear, zero squeaks or issues, etc. etc. The reason this one sticks out is that usually these cars (manual IS300) are well over an hour and a half away and have either double the miles or have been modded far beyond what I like or am comfortable dealing with. The car just needs the clutch damper delete, and some tint and it is good to go. The only thing is that I prefer not to pay full in cash, and that as always, there is just something about Lexus' that just seem to be great cars, but have no passion about them. It's hard to put my finger on it.

From a core stand point, I believe it is about how the abbs are being flexed, one way they are kind of pushing with to help with max press, and the other way is more about controlling your core from twisting once you have the weight in hand.

When doing bench for example, are your feet on the floor or are your knees up to force your back to stay flat? (I do the later) I lift like a power lifter for the big 3. I can try adding the knees up bench to my routine. Sometimes after a good chest day I'll do a burn out set with knees up and light weight for 20-40 reps. I am not trying to change your form, just offer a suggestion. As when I am pushing for 1RM, my feet drop to the floor and my back starts to arch for which my abbs are pressing outward with the arch. This supposedly is part of the reason why big power lifters get extended abbs. I am always trying to keep my back as flat as I can on the bench regardless of movement.

Can I ask for clarification if thats ok. Do you mean muscularly, the tummy sticks out a little, or that's the last remaining area of fat?
