Welcome to the IHoP
I wish Mach5 existed when I was 19 or so. I had a small house during the summers at the beach and I could have done anything too it. Would have been prime for a serious HA install.

POLL: New Section of the Forum
Thought is might help spice up the board. I hope this poll does not get a chili reception. If so we will have to put the idea on ICE. But if everyone is hungry for a new section we can add it.

IXL-18.4
From everything Mark has told me, it should be on par with the great SQ of the MJ, but with some more excursion and output. But it will require a larger box. The MJ in that manner is great for space limited people.

Welcome to the IHoP
Nice, I want people to know that the website can flow and change with wants and needs of the members if there is enough demand.

Welcome to the IHoP
Hey J, want to make a poll topic in the OT section asking if people was a food and drink area?

Welcome to the IHoP
Well if there is enough interest there can always be a sub section. But sub sections get very little traffic.

Welcome to the IHoP
On this day in 1987, the Soviet Union launched the Polyus prototype orbital weapons platform (which failed to reach orbit); in 1960, it launched Sputnik 4; and in 1958, Sputnik 3. In 1940, McDonald's was founded; also, the first Nylon stockings went on sale in the U.S. In 1918, the US Post Office Department began its first regular airmail service. And in 1718, London lawyer James Puckle patented the world's first machine gun. Happy Birthday Ahmet Zappa (1974), Emmitt Smith (1969), John Smoltz (1967), Chazz Palminteri (1951), Jasper Johns (1930), Pierre Curie (1859) and L. Frank Baum (1856). RIP June Carter Cash (d. 2003), Boys Town founder Father Edward Flanagan (1948) and Emily Dickinson (1886). Looking to do a sick budget install
We are having an issue with the UPS shipping module once it goes past a certain weight. If we cannot get it fixed in the next day or so, we can always do paypal directly. You could try doing two seperate orders of 2 to get around the UPS bug. Sorry for the issues, mark has been working on the code none stop for a few days now for the shop.

IXL-18.4
Hey Turtles, The IXL will be up on the shop, but if you are in Canada, it would be cheaper to order directly from Mach5audio.com. As for when, the last I heard, they were on the production line now.

RL-p12 D2 Enclosure question
My RL-p shines in a 2.0 @ 27, many people have gotten great results out of a 1.5 @34hz.

18 inch Rl-p Beast questions
All of the SoundSplinters are conservative, but that does not mean they need to take double the power. Just be smart with the gains.

Have any where that you could get the amp tested?

Fi Q 18 vs Sound Splinter RLp18
I think if it came down to that, it would depend on the application and wattage.

comparisson
I honestly don't feel that anything SJA builds has the clarity of the MAG. But then again I have not hears the "sonance". I say get the MAG, for sure, talk to Nick directly, he has a few 15's left. He goes by Electrodynamic on here.

How does this Amp and Sub set up look?
Maybe if the price wasnt so much on the sundown compared to other amps. The price went up after the pre-sale. I wouldnt pay $400 for the sundown amp. I know they run very efficient at .5 ohm and they can pound a sub very good but if I was gonna pay more for a amp Id rather have a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd. The BD line is a very good amp as we all know.. Even Steve Meade uses the Rockford BD series amps.. I can get a new Rockford T10001bd for $340 new not refurbished. I can also get that memphis PRD1000.1 for $289. When the SSA shop gets the SAE-1000Ds in, you should PM denim to see what the price is. MSRP is simply MSRP.
