  1. I have not heard that model Pioneer, but I know what the SSD can do.
  2. The L7 does have the cone advantage, but if you get the Q do some research with the Fi guys and find out whats best. You could a little more and get the BL, I know they can get loud.
  3. On this day last year, a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign science team successfully converted pig waste into crude oil. In 1997, IBM's Deep Blue defeated Garry Kasparov, becoming the first computer to beat a world-champion chess player. In 1987, Dr. Bruce Reitz performed the first heart-lung transplant. In 1928, the first analog TV service was inaugurated by WGY in Schenectady, New York. And in 1820 a young Charles Darwin launched the HMS Beagle, starting his famous scientific voyage. Happy Birthday Martha Quinn (1959), Mort Sahl (1927), Salvador Dal

  11. Just wanted to see what you guys take close to heart as some major lessons or experiences that need to be passed on to the next generation. Here are mine, which I am sure would change in a few years. 1. Be young and have fun with what and who you can while you can. 2. Family family family 3. College is worth it even if you don't use it 4. Children are more scary, more exciting, more stressful, more expensive, and more fulfilling then anything else period. 5. Own a civic / carolla, regardless if you need it or not, because you will. 6. Learn from those who came before you. 7. Don't hold a grude, or get angry about the small stuff. (I am really working on this one) 8. Do what you can to take care of the planet, even if it is just your little space, because there is not much left to take care of. 9. Get a hobby, play a sport, or play an instrument, they will help you continue to grow and give you something to always look forward to, even in the worst of times. 10. Travel, learn whats out there, meet new people, you cannot experience the world through a monitor.
  12. Can I ask your background, as in ansestorial (sp??) heritage.
  13. Jim, not everyone has the space like you do. But Mark, I agree with the above, I think it will sell, and maybe a few people will grab it in the CA market for the sheer size alone, but it will mostly be the HA market. But you know my feelings, I would rather beef up the MJ and keep it on the market then see it go bye bye and gain a 20". Any news on tweets and 8's?
  14. Can I ask your budget?
  15. I agree with Jim, nice sub stage.
  16. That is a great sub choice.
  17. The RL-i is a great choice, the TC10 has gotten good reviews. The SI BM 10 is a potent ported box sub. The Assassin is on its way, and the SSD 10 can be optioned up to your needs.
  18. welcome to SSA!!
  19. back
  20. HBD J, I hope the job hunt is going well.
  21. Looks great Tom, very nice starting point.
