  1. Wow Ryan, I am really sorry to hear about your ankle. I know it does not make it any better but I had to walk around for 3 months, until my insurance kicked in, with no attached ligaments in my left knee and a shredded meniscus.
  2. Do any of you guys know someone that was shot? Side note/rant: I wonder if this will get the same type of up roar that the IMUS ordeal had. Nothing against VA, but VA as a state is one of the easiest to get a gun with limited to no wait time. The real test and real issue is that after the dust settles, and the people who were shot down are laid to rest, will there be anything done about gun control? Yes, I know there are some guys on here from VA, and I know some people on here are hunters, but to me it seems the right to bear arms is a much more sensitive subject than freedom of speech. I am not trying to start a debate, but this is something seriously wrong with the US and I wish I could do something about it. (I do write almost daily emails to my local officials about endangered animals through the Defenders of Wildlife, but not sure what I could do about this problem). But it will show where real priorities lie, are people going to just sit there and point fingers at anyone they can find and say "its not my fault" and try to hang someone, prime example the hurricane that tore up Louisiana and Mississippi, or is someone going to start making forward progress about gun control and how to better protect and warn our kids who are at college? That is the real question. Not who's fault it is and who we can beat down through the media and such, but what are we going to change and make better from this, if not we learned NOTHING from this horrible event. The sad thing is that people like Al Sharpton are not going to come out and make a big media deal about these poor defenseless students and professors were shot. He can't line his pockets or point the finger at someone, since that someone is dead by his own hand. This will be a true test. Sorry for the rant but I think hey some of my good friends could have been killed, I am glad they are ok, but what is going to be done to keep them safe?
  3. I agree, it is much like Braveheart, if its on TV you have to drop everything and watch it.
  4. Meaning, if I can grab a sunday for a few hours and do some heavy paint cleaners, then some sealer, then a glaze, then a good wax which I would probably repeat about 3-5 times, then a polish (which reminds me I need to run out and get some more). Going to have to treat the leather and so on.
  5. For mid's I seem to prefer woven fiber or paper. Not been a fan of the aluminums for mids. For subs, I have mixed feelings; I love the sound and clarity of my old TC7 Eclipses', but I do also like the sound of the paper cone (ie. MAG / Q / ICON / MJ-18).
  6. It looks like the new Merlins are using the old bass mechanix series heat sinks.
  7. It might be a mini loading wall. I will try to look for the pix of the inside of the monster Pioneer truck that had a loading wall. It keeps better back pressure on the cone (which I think someone told me about how it helps with impedance rise but I cannot remember so don't quote me) but it still allows air flow around to the mic.
  8. 1.FM lounge channel.
  9. The SE is a good sub, but if you are trying to stick with that type of sub, personally I would sell the SE and order SSD's and customize them to your needs.
  10. Nice sub, and great review.
  11. Actually I think it is a mixture of both. But I honestly have not had time to really look at it. It will take me weeks to get the paint up to what the sled is at right now, but that is my ultra pickiness.
  12. It makes sense, but strange to have multiple locations in the US. I think it will be a major undertaking to line everything up and still keep all of the locations feeling like a world finals instead of a near by 3x comp.
  13. I do need to find the right product to de-fog the lens covers.
  14. That was my plan, once it died again, was to part it out, but the issue now is that I dont have the tools or equipment to pull things like headers and exhaust and so on.
  15. BTW 875,039
  16. I am still at work too.
  17. Thats good news on Matt!
  18. The reason with me and suspension, is that I take it too far. Haha, near track ready set ups are not fun daily. But if you say the intake is fine the way it is, I wont touch it, along with the current. I just wanted to get a few more hp and maybe a little more mpg with out effecting it too much. I was at that sweet spot on the explorer, but the headers took me right over the edge, followed by mass air sensor and throttle body.
  19. 21 dead, 21 more wounded, yes Jim is there as are a few others, along with my Uncle and aunt are professors there. Just made a topic about it.
  20. I hope everyone that we know is ok. I have family there too.
  21. Just had a silly idea ... http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi...03&pid=1810
