Welcome to the IHoP
So the sled cover has a monster rip in it from the gale force winds we have been having, that means another $275 and 2 months wait for it to be made. We lost a close game last night in soccer, other team picked up a few new players who foul first play the ball second. Then bitch at the ref that our player took a dive, but fail to say anything that his eye is swelling up and cheek is bleeding from being slammed into the boards blind sided. But our goalie coming way out and slipping did not help the cause.

Jordan, I know that last one, but the movie title is escaping me at the moment.

Very nice work so far!!! Please, if you dont mind, give a write up on your ported ventures with the MJ-18. I want to port it sometime soon, but I want to hear what others are doing ported with it, as I am sure many other people do too.

Pete's install log
- Great subs that never should have been discontinued....
If you could bring one back what would it be?? I will always say, round solo, Power HX2, PG Ti Elite, TC-7 based Eclipse Alum's....- my ht options
If you were to go the Mach5 route, I can attest for the MJ-18 as I have one sealed. I had a decent write up on it, but it was lost in the upgrade. For the money, I doubt there is anything of this quality available. Once broken in, it is a quick sub with a large freq. range. The output is very good for the power it needs, though it can take more. But also look at the 12" and 15" MAW models, there has been nothing but positive reviews on them also. I have the 12" but only limited testing on it.- Wow what a scare!
Now if more people thought that way....- Wow what a scare!
When installed in my truck, (as it is currently) my 2500D has an Eclipse 5v deck + an Audio Control Overdrive feeding it signal. The overdrive is set down pretty far, but I have my eclipse sub out near full signal. So I think its a thing of not like 8 or 10+ volts, you will be fine on 4v, not to mention it will be very short bursts that your deck would be sending out that level of signal, so you will be fine in that respect. My only mark against, and its not really a negative thing, is that the gains seem to be very touchy on the 2500D. Nick, has had the same issue, but just be smart with it and that amp will do you right. I have run it as low as .5 and at the moment it is running at 8ohms and doing great.- wow, dead PB forum...
I am sorry, but we really put forth the effort for PB and could not seem to hold onto a rep for very long. I keep in contact with the past reps (other than Johnny), but not one seemed to leave on a positive note. PB as a company never really cared to acknowledge their free webforum, and we cannot keep it up with out support or a rep.- Mach5Audio MAW-10 review...
I only have one left now, its my computer sub in the 1.2 cube ported enclosure All of the testing was done in my fucus, and I used a DEI 1500D for power... Thanks a bunch, actually just finished up working on the door pods tonight for the RS225s Im going to post up an install thread here shortly.... Thanks denim When are the MJ-18s coming in??? I need three more Any day now, between you and Ryan, half of the MJ-18s are already claimed.- Welcome to the IHoP
- Speaking of which...

Nothing in particular, but I am just speaking from my experience.- Reintroduction
One of my goals from the beginning was to assemble a great "team", if you will, of talented builders/customizers/installers here. We have some great numbers guys, some great design guys, and a few SPL guys, and some talented engineers. But any addition to SSA (and CYV) of knowledge is always a plus. Hence the reason we started that seperate Reference Center, CYV and SSA can attract more members with more important and vital info. CYV's focus being more automotive and SSA's being more audio.- Reintroduction
Hey Boom, glad to have ya, there are always box questions that could use your expertise.- hello everyone
