so they are correct, HPF is what you want, make sure the bass boost is all the way down and check the gain setting tutorial on here, it will help give you a good basis these are suposed to be very well built amps so take care of it

I was just reading up on them a little. I think that is a limited run amplifer. Correct me if I am wrong, but someone told me Exile started from the original PG engineers. That is a good thing.

I ask because the 15 could be a big time mover for you. Many people shy away from 18s and want larger than a 12.
