Since we have had a ever changing rep for PB and only short flurries of posting in here, and still no link or recigntion from the home site the Powerbass forum is in danger of staying. I am not going to delete any topics or posts, but I cannot support a company if they are not going to support their forum. So if members here want to keep the PowerBass forum up, and I know there are a good handful of die hard PB people, then someone needs to get a hold of a new representative from PB to moderate this forum. I am not going to keep doing it and 3 months later that rep is gone. Find a PB rep and I will keep the forum up!

mrray13 is reading the thread right now, he is one of many people, tirefryr also makes great boxes too. as for the amplifer choice, I am very tight with money at the moment so that affects my decision and since I have not heard any negative reports on the new Xterminator line in terms of sound, I feel it would be a good choice for a daily system, if you want you can always upgrade later

600 watts is fine for the RL-p, you could start with a sealed box and if you do not feel the output is enough then think about a ported box. But if you went ported at 1.5 cubes, I believe Mike reccomends 34hz tuning.

I prefer the idea of having spent a few extra dollars on a better electrical and front stage components and saving money on rear stage speakers.

I agree with sean, and I am a fna of Zapco so nice choice on front stage amps. Maybe you could PM flakko and see if he can give you a deal on a matching Xterminator amp to save even more money, unless you are dead set on the Zapco.

Hotcarl was kind enough to send me a design someone had made up for him for a SS RL-i 8. I wanted to see if you guys could take a look at it for me and see what you think. I personally have never designed or built a TL. Not to mention I will not have time to build this any time soon, so don't ask for progress pictures
