With such a tall surround, it is QUITE easy for the coil to rock bck and forth in the gap... especially under high excursion. nG yea Aaron you didnt know that duh I was asking beause I don't know much at all about T3 and was curious if they have this problem

personally I have always loved the sound of a TC sub sealed, I would just prefer the sound from more drivers sealed than less drivers ported.

If it were me I would not even put the components back there, I would just run the 2 MTs you have in the best box you build. Nick NDStang45 might have a good idea as to how to build for the MTs. Are you going to compete on a regular basis? if not I not recomend a wall for daily driving.

Doesn't that rattle? Even with the setup I had in the pics above, that thing rattled to the point where it annoyed me... That's why I rebuilt it out of MDF. yeah it tends to bounce up

I would rather have the subs firing up but, My pit likes to ride with me and lays on top of the box sometimes. Not good on subs. Pointing them up would lessen the rattles in the hatch area. I had a hard time dampening the hatch. Almost impossible to tame rattles from auto hatch release mech. I just mention it because Explorers tend to gain in SPL with upward fired subs, but seem to have better lower end extention with rear fired.

that is an awesome amplifer, many have run it at .5 daily that I have read.... with that said, the 4 12's if you have the space, would be sick!! you are going to want to be in the range of 2.0 - 2.5 cubes for the 12's and 2.5 - 3.5 cubes for the 15's, there is another member on here with a wall of 4 15" RL-ps he might be able to help.

I like the new box, have you tried firing the subs up? Just asking as a fellow explorer owner.
