the sound from both subs will be very good, if installed right, but the RL-p has the potential to have greater output and handle more power. but that is not saying it needs tons more power either, I like the dual 10 idea, and the RL-p for HT would be very sweet!!

if you have the space for a large box and a ton of power at 4 ohms, the RL-s might be a fun choice, but for in car, the MAGs might be easier to workwith and they have a cone advantage, I feel it is a win win either way

you should keep the Crown to power them

I vote for #2, that way you will know how it will sound, when adding the stronger amp, only the output should change.

I voted, but it depends, eclipse in car, little lower, eclipse in truck a little higher, around low 40's when by myself and there is nothing fragile within 50 feet.
