be smart with the gains, the Merlin is a very strong amp, and it is plenty of power for the RL-ps, think of it this way you will have some headroom and power to spare..

1200 watts is plenty, have you looked into something like an Orion 1200D or talked to flakko and see what deals he might have on US Amps
