denim I think I got my optima D31M for like 175 on ebay. do you remember who was selling it? because I need a battery of that level, (ie stinger 1700, svr100, etc.)

is it the motor specs? or the low tuning that is causeing such a long port? (maybe both?)

I dont use it to build, I use it to get a rough idea, I would love a large folded horn for this beast, I heard a HT with a pair of 8s in a folded horn (could have been TL not sure) that with my eyes closed had the presence of 12's, I have no idea where I could put the RL-i, I just want one, err um maybe 8 in a bass race box

silly clown, welcome to the forum, as a few other RL-p owners said, port the RL-p, with that power it will really come alive, if you have the space 2 cubes, and if you want to keep strong output Mike reccomends 34hz, I tuned a little lower, but that is personal preference, if you need help with the box there are a few memebers here who are very good at box design

the new site needs to be simple and informative, customers who have heard of or intend to buy US Amps, are a little more astute and do not need flashy eye catching flash animations or distracting motion gif's, one thing it absolutely needs is the US AMPS FORUM LINK!!!!!!

from what I remember reading, mid bass is the hardest range to reproduce inside a cabin, I need to add some mid bass to my truck, because I have a large discrepancey between the pair of 5.25 RF FanQ comps and what ever sub I have in that week, for my listening tastes, and many others on here, try to keep our subs crossover at 80hz and below, and I try to keep my subsonic freq away from my components, so there is a dead spot in my truck between approx 300hz and 80hz, thats where the mid bass would come in to help reproduce those frequencies, I hope that helps explain it a little from my perspective

just wondering what you guys felt about attaching things like felt or sound foam, (seen a few designs on DIY like this) for SQ purposes, not SPL ofcourse, but for less vibraton and harmonics, etc...
