  1. I personally have never built anything from it, just use it to get ideas really
  2. sad thing is that I am already try to get box plan ideas for a sub I have nto even bought yet..
  3. if resale value is an issue, a SS sub will do well, for example my RL-p will hold better value (per initial cost) than my H2 15, the H2 is a good high power sub with very strong output but there are much more of them out there, so less demand for them
  4. to add to what steve has said, it keeps the dealers out, and deters from members just joining up to sell their equipment and leaving... we want people to come on and stay a while and actually become a member and then after a little bit the window opens for sale of items, and its 25 posts, oh forgot to say

you have a DMM to test out actual power? just wondering if these are ratted right on or underratted like US AMPs of old

tempted to sell my old RF's, but I love my old RF's something about classic looking solid build no frills small footprint amps I love, just can't put my finger on it
  7. I would not reccomend it, even though I have not owned that amp, I would not trust it if you pushed it that hard, maybe sell and move to a IA 20.1, that can run below 1 ohm no probelm and put out plenty of power for a pair

  12. suprised at how long it has been since the last TF binge in here
  13. awesome set up, except you need to get a 1000x to push the MAG and give me the JBL
  14. I dont know about shiping for the RL-i, it weighs less than the RL-p so you would have to email mike about it
  15. Guys, trust me, just getting something small that she would like is light years better than getting her nothing at all, heck just spending $7 on her is more than worth it. I don't claim to be an expert in this area, but I have made enough mistakes in the past and have really made mental notes to correct them. Her seeing you made the effort is a big deal. In many instances, just taking the bullet to make her happy is the best way. It took me years to really learn that and just let things go and move on because there are so many things that have greater importance and value than fighting over the little things. I see it this way, you don't want her holding in her memory that you did not get her something this year because she will hold on to that and use it against you and might not ever forget it as long as you are with her. Ok that is enough from me on that stuff. Anyway, I am always trying to get more members over here. If you guys direct more people here traffic will continue to grow. The more quality members the better.
  16. from the above link, look at the SVR 80, best bang for the buck in high power batteries, but it does not fit for your needs, the SVR 28 that casey linked fits
  17. good to see ya BGT err um Fonzi, oh and guys I am trying to figure out the upload issue, for now use another site and link the image from them
