Guys, trust me, just getting something small that she would like is light years better than getting her nothing at all, heck just spending $7 on her is more than worth it. I don't claim to be an expert in this area, but I have made enough mistakes in the past and have really made mental notes to correct them. Her seeing you made the effort is a big deal. In many instances, just taking the bullet to make her happy is the best way. It took me years to really learn that and just let things go and move on because there are so many things that have greater importance and value than fighting over the little things. I see it this way, you don't want her holding in her memory that you did not get her something this year because she will hold on to that and use it against you and might not ever forget it as long as you are with her. Ok that is enough from me on that stuff. Anyway, I am always trying to get more members over here. If you guys direct more people here traffic will continue to grow. The more quality members the better.

looks good to me, from my limited experience, you do not need tons of power to drive the MAG, but many members have said they like they way they respond at 1000+ watts

chad what are your guestimates for the dimensions? 20 cubes?

I believe Mike has a video of the RL-i 10 in a HT application, and the 10's are DVC 4 ohm so it can show an 8 ohm load, I feel the SS is a excellent choice, I love my RL-p, and the customer service is excellent

I think that amp (if run at 2 ohms mono) would be great for a pair of MAG's

its not like a CD drive on a computer, but dont worry it can be done fairly easy, that is depending on how well you can get to the unit

if you are confident enough to not break anything you might have to pull the head unit out and take the case off, (like jim said in the other topic) unless you want to take it to a shop and they charge you too much to do the same thing
