  2. haha you make me laugh maybe we can stumble through those pods, and tweek the magnum some, any mods you want to do to the mag?
  3. well I am heading to her now, I will talk to her about it, I have been trying to take a little road trip, maybe we could build some door pods too
  4. you finally order your RL-p?
  5. I am heading out too
  6. I would love to do that, but I would have to bring Amanda, I would love to help out on the amplifers, if you decide to make them
  7. I pm'ed him about it
  8. I don't know, I would love to have a good hour or more to sit and really hear it
  9. no I am really sorry, I had my weekends screwed up, I did not have my date book next to me when I made the topic
  10. Congrats Glad she's happy with everything. I have a pretty good idea as to what the ring looks like based on your description, so I'd imagine she just loves it. I saw the pics in his blog...Id marry him for that ring
  11. thanks for the support, steve that is a really nice ring, I am going to do the same idea for the wedding bands
  12. PM HCCAfan on the Orion price
  13. thanks J
  14. thanks frosty it means a lot oh yeah she said yes, if anyone was wondering, I will have to take a few pix of the ring on her hand, she is still flipping happy about the whole deal and loves the ring to death
  15. I use my ipod all the time, everytime I work out, or I want to listen to music and amanda wants to sleep, or I have to wait somewhere for something, I have extensive experience with the MAC OS, and I feel for most needs it is still superior to XP Pro, and my daily machines are a G4 and a Dell, both are over 2 years old, but one is much more stable and reliable, take a guess which
  16. I am not going to be able to go, I forgot I have a wedding to go to, there have been so many in the past 2 years they all blurr together
  17. looking at them now
  18. RL-p owners has always praised its ability to hit the deep notes with ease, and if you step up to the 15 you will gain greater output
  19. if you go with a pair of 12" RL-p D4s, and you want the most output, port them at 2.0 cubes per sub, and tune in the 34Hz range, that is one of the sweet spots for the RL-p, as squeak said the RL-s needs a lot of space and a great deal of power, if money is a major factor, you can find a amplifer for the 2 RL-ps cheaper than an amplifer for one RL-s, in addition the 2 12's have the instant cone advantage over a single RL-s 12, so for you I would vote a pair of the new RL-ps and an amplifer along the lines of the Nine.1 or Incriminator 20.1 or Orion 1200D, or kicker KX 1200 or RF T1001 or US AMPS AX1000 or the PowerBass XA 1500
  20. oh sorry that might have come out wrong, all of the amplifers listed so far are tops in the build quality, but for SQ I think the Minilith might be the best, but honestly, the difference in SQ is probably not going to be heard, I know the new RF Powers are flat out awesome, seriously underratted with really beefy internals, all of the amplifers listed will get it done, I have seen the RF spec out in the 1400 watt range, you do not need that much power to get the most out of the MAG for daily needs, trust me, so its up to you as to how much you want to spend, and if your electrical system can take the current draw
