  1. head to head of the same size, the SX should be louder, its made to be an SPL sub, the RL-p is an SQ sub that can get somewhat loud, for daily RL-p for comp SX
  2. power has nothing do do with the sub, in the right box for both subs, that is hard to say, it is up to the install, but the RL-p starts off with a large cone surface advantage so in theory the RL-p should be louder, but the SX might get a little louder on the MIC but maybe not to your ear

  6. he is an old buddy from SoundDomain :1281:
  7. well the car will never see the track again, it has basiclly become a highway feast in that car, it can eat up miles of blacktop in a short amount of time really smoothly, I was thinking of doing them since I am going to have all new rotors put on soon
  8. what movies? where?
  9. the SX is much more of an SPL driver, the RL-p is an SQL driver
  10. Aaron Clinton replied to 60ndown's topic in SoundSplinter
don't lose contact with him, he might be able to help out on things if needed LMT?
  11. that is some of the nicest work I have seen in a while, the PPI looks right at home in the cubby hole
  12. a pair of Orion 1200D's would power them fine, you could run a 2500D @ .5 mono, but I would rather have the 2 amps
  13. the RL-p is a step up from the SE for sure, but the SE is still a great sub with out a doubt, fun daily driver sub
  14. well thats a start, I might see a little more difference with a heavy car with heavy wheels
  15. knew you were going to say that, but does your vote stay the same with the increased prices?
  16. you can talk to mike directly here in the SoundSplinter forum a few sections lower than this one, or email [email protected] or go to soundsplinter.com , and my system is in constant transition, but I am not building for SPL to hit high numbers with my RL-p, its home is a 2.0 cube box tuned to 27-29hz, and it is awaiting an Orion 8002
  17. performance products has these for my car, I personally have not used them on anything short of a 993TT or anything track only, who has experience with them for daily driving, even though my car sees the outside of the driveway one a week max
  18. for the money, it is very hard to beat the performance and customer service of soundsplinter, you could also look into Incriminator Audio LI's
  19. that is a great start for sure
  20. spend a few more dollars and you get a warrenty from Orion if you buy from HCCAfan I did
  21. Orion 1200D from HCCAfan, check for sale section on here
