  1. if not a KX 1200.1 or RF T1001 or PowerBass XA 1500D or Cadence ZRS-7 or even an Orion 1200D
  2. only the one you sent on here, have not been to CA in about a week
  3. well I was going to ask for some assistance, it has been a while that I have bough dedicated mid-bass, and parts express does not carry Eclipse or Orion or Crystal and espically ID, so I am a little out of my expertise when it comes to some of these companies, the Morel's have very nice specs, along with the Davis mid-bass but that is more than I want to spend, I am not looking for super high end, just a quality mid-bass that will go into a small console box upfront, helping me bring my sound stage a little forward, I would probably run them at 350hz and below for this particular install, Does it have to be exactly a certain size or just around 6.5-7"? Vifa PL, Peerless CSX, Dayton RS. The dayton is shielded and only in 8 ohm, so that may be a problem. The Vifa is available in 4 ohm, and the CSX has been available in 4 ohm, I don't know if PE still has some though. The Dayton is a very high quality driver and you shouldn't have any problem with cone resonance at that bandwidth. I've heard mixed reviews about the Vifa, but I think that was just about the midrange, should be good for midbass and I'm pretty sure it shares some parts with the JL XR. I will look at the Dayton, do you have experince with Daivs or Morel?
  4. I have had something similar happen, and the dust had gouped up the fan blades ad
  5. very good work man
  6. i don't think so. unless ur ears tell u otherwise. i didn't like my rl-p in the 2.5ft^3 tuned to 28hz box. it didn't get very loud and it tended to get muddy up at the top end (the xxx did the exact same thing). i really liked it in the 2 cube ported box..alot. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. if you want something serious look into Ohio Generators
  8. have you looked at the new Zed Audio amplifers? the prices seem very reasonable, and I have owned a few amplifers that were sourced from Zed Audio and they were excellent
  9. So tempting just for the price alone, but I have my eyes on something far fetched. Just awaiting a review as there are some discrepancies with some measurements. good luck
  10. love the brahma's, put them suckers to use
  11. great work man
  12. love that Diamond amp, looks great so far, keep it up
  13. thank you sir, I hope it gave a good picture of your new substage
  14. I was worried I got a little off track and was to wordy, but I was planning on going back to automotive article next issue, but maybe I can do the RL-p, but I need to sell my Cadence, (I will let it go cheap) because I want a little more power for my sub for daily SQ, if i get the money I still want a pair of these mags bad, and a second 2500D to power them, my hopes would be to call up shane again and nab an 8002 to match the 8004 for the sled show install with the RL-p in it, this would put me in a weird spot, a bunch of subs with no home I have the Orion 600D if you want it. No matter what version you have D2 or D4 it can be wired to 1 ohm. ~600rms. Just let me know if you are interested. the 600D would be perfect, but I want to go a little higher in power and run A/B
  15. welcome to the site, hope you stick around
  16. have fun, and be careful, I have had numerous friends who have been robbed there
  17. dont worry, 28 does too
  18. all three very good, PM HCCAfan about the Orion, the Kicker can be found on ebay for cheap also

  20. the MAG is an amazing sub, I was the first to test it (12") see momentum article posted in the announcemnets section, the MAG is on preorder or just ended, you can get direct pricing, Nick is very helpful and will make sure you are happy with your purchse, the RL-p is also an awesome sub, Mike is very good with customer service, he will have more subs in very soon, both subs are worht waiting for, and I feel it is better to get the top end from either Mike or Nick, than get the mid level from Focal, dont get me wrong I love focal, they are always on my wish list, but the MAG and RL-p are both very capable subs, if you are running higher power the MAG might be the choice, but for lower power (less than 1000) the RL-p might be the one called for, very tough decision, I have one and I want both java script:emoticon(' ') smilie
  21. excellent work, love the design of the amp rack, I was thinking about doing the same thing in my car, but dont really have the vertical space to do it
