  1. I met her awhile ago at a SLAP show, and she was very cool to me in person, so I had to invite her
  2. that is very good work, I want to do something very similar with my car
  3. Effendi, I usually stand back and let things happen when something of this nature comes up, but I would prefer if you did not leave, you have added to this forum more than you know, I feel ever member is vital here, we are such a small little corner of the web, and in a way I am being selfish but your a good guy and I want you to stay, and don't think I won't email you either, so stick around man, I hope it means something when the admin asks you to stick
  4. that is where I am going when I have to make my massive RCA overhaul
  5. hey

welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy it
  6. I bust my tookus to keep this place as cool as possible, stop buy US Amps on your little trip
  7. you have to watch kickinaudio's vid of one of his team mates trucks with Solo X's and watch how they basicly punt the dust cap to the wind shield
  8. review should not be too far off from your review of the XXX vs. RL-p, the Ava is a nice driver that is using XBL^2, so the sound and performance should not be too far off
  9. that is a good price, if you want new with warrenty talk to HCCAfan
  10. sorry I have to let you in on a wish of mine, 8 RL-i 8's with a pair of Zapco C2k-9.0s powering them
  11. What is the RL-p's goal, cause i know that D2 is both loud and sq, but i would chooose more sq and pretty loud over really loud and less sq. In all the times I have been able to talk to Mike, he has never once given the impression that SPL is his goal, he is going after building some of the most solid drivers that can be made and attain uncompromised sound quality, if the subs get loud that is a nice addition, Nick Lemons, who is also top notch with customer service, set out to build an amazing driver with audiophile level SQ, no holes barred, but with the ability to get brutally loud and have excellent linear control and excursion, personally I feel both guys surpassed their goal, I own an RL-p because it was an awesome deal for a top end SQ driver, and thats what I want it to be, a daily SQ sub that is going to make me have a stupid grin on my face every time I listen to it, I really really want to save up some cash and order a pair of MAG's and run an obxnious amount of power to them and run them in my truck where I can watch them dismantle it, I think they have some serious potential, yes they are both excellent drivers, but each have their own abilities, they come from different build houses, both have excellent motors, the RL-p using TC's flagship TC9, and the MAG using a custom tooled motor, I hope that helps, sorry but I love both speakers
  12. you should go and ask for a tour of the place, now that they are under new management and adding all these amplifer lines and this new cooky website
  13. have you ever picked up a VLX-400? sexiest amp ever created, if I was able to find one and afford one, I would call it a day with my amp collecting, I would not find something that I could love more
  14. guys I want to say thank you for organizing this little meet, and that you choose to get together on the basis of this little website means a lot to me, even though we are a small family here I am glad we span so far out
  15. those horns are unreal, I would love to put my 30 year old Pioneer on them and power them up and listen to Let it Be
  16. I am just messing, I cannot afford a 2000x, thats why I am running Orion, excellent amps for the money, US amps are top end with no compromise, just sheer power and clarity they are hard to surpass
  17. excellent work man, looks great, I think the Viper should do well with those, if your not competing for SPL, no need to push them to their limits, they do more than enough at 500 RMS
  18. no way am i stupid enough to do that. after a real good beating the other day i noticed that i could barely touch the cone...i was just making sure this was the norm yeah its natural, my Eclipse get cooking is fire a risk? when running a sub hard in a sealed enclosure is it possible to ignite anything? oh hell no, hot but not that kind of heat, just enough to make the metal soft
  19. welcome to the site first of all, but if your smart with the gains and you don't abuse the subs you should be ok with that kind of power on a pair of RL-i 8's
  20. that is hard to answer, since the RL-p is designed with different goals in mind than the MAG, and I own a RL-p and tested a new MAG, both are excellent subwoofers, I am not going to try to sway you one way or the other, both have top end customer service and build quality,
  21. you hush up, he needs to build to power and sub requirements first before he buys new equipment
  22. dez you are the man in my book, you passed me in AC collection, good stuff there, solid amps + excellent processors and line drivers = me slobbering
  23. umm hi my name is Aaron, I will give most anything shy of MSRP for a US Amps 2000x to power my sub stage
  24. for the money, that is not bad at all
