I'll run it like this until my avalanche comes in because it still sounds ok after the repair i did. the rl-p did not like the .9ft box at all so i put it in a 1.25 box and its much better. how was it acting?

talk to HCCAfan on here about maybe an Orion 600D, there are numerous happy customers do you think the 600D is better than the KX600.1? IMO too close to call, both are going to be very solid and reliable, and both will put out well into 700 watts with ease, both will run fairly cool even with some abuse, and both will be somewhat efficent for daily needs, personally I feel that it is a toss up, I like both

which voice coils did you get? dual 4 or dual 2?

DO NOT TOUCH THE CONE while the sub is playing, you can dimple the sub, when the cone gets hot and is conducting heat it becomes a little soft during the process

the nick on the surround is from me, I had the sub rearward firing, and it was moving so much air that the rear hatch pull strap was lifting up off the rear hatch and hitting the sub for a few notes

I know the new W6 is a very capable SQ driver, I am not sure if there has been a direct head to head comparison yet, because there are very few RL-ps compared to the W6 in production but the quality of the RL-p is TOP NOTCH, and the customer service is some of the best in the industry, I choose the RL-p due to the very high reviews and how much woofer you get for the money, I am biased sorry, but it is hard to choose the W6 for the price and performance of the RL-p

now that I look at their prices the ZED amps are not bad in price, Ryan you feel that they are that much better than the MB Quart (ie new RF's)? both have top end construction, just on different levels of production rate

thats why I covet the old US Acoustics, I still use one currently

The first pic was the lower tuned ones...peaked @40hz...tuning somewhere around 33 or so... Needless to say, they didn't turn out that way...I peak A LOT higher NG can I ask where did it peak with the second ports? sorry for the questions, but I am a n00d when it comes to ports of this nature, I know the euros have been using them for years
