the 1200D is probably the sweet spot in the big Orion amp line up, so you have a very solid duo, but I wonder if the PG sub was just priced out of the general public, I have only seen them in serious show cars finebar ygpm

what happened to this sub? and has someone listened to it recently? would love to test it against the MAG or IDMAX or my incomming RL-p

I have done my reading but I still do not know enough, I want to learn how to design them and the strengths and weakness of each. I hope to design and build one of these for an RL-i 8

that has to do more with the box than the sub, they are very close subs, I will always take SoundSplinter over JL

then the MTX 421 should fit your needs great, honestly, ask most anyone on here and they will take MTX before the profile

the RL-p is an efficent driver, not need to drive it at its limit for daily

if you want a hair more power, the MTX 421D is a step up

first of all I forgot to welcome you to the site, and to be honest if you are on a really night budget, the MTX 311D is going to have to be at the top of the list, plenty of power and can be had for under $100 new, no need to send more than 400 to an RL-i for daily

400 is plenty, do you have a budget for the amp?
